Aaaaagh, rescue called me back about a dog!

I'm trying really hard not to get over-excited!

Even though DH and I have agreed to wait till we move to a bigger house in a couple of years, I still keep an eye on local rescues, just in case the "perfect" dog for us appears - and last week, he did.

I called the rescue expecting him to have been already snapped up, but no, he's still available. I had a phone interview, and send them a video of our street, house and garden, and I'm waiting to hear.

I know it might not come to anything - I haven't even told the DC, and won't unless the rescue want us to meet him, but god, I hope they chose us. He just sounds like the most perfect boy for us!

That’s a shame, but I guess they know him well. On the positive they will come back to you now about other dogs. You won’t be dog less for long.🤞

This must be disappointing for you.On the positive side it sounds a very good rescue place and you can be confident,they will find you a perfect match.Maybe try to curb your enthusiasm until they phone you with a definitite match.It will be less painful for you.Best of luck
