I lost my dog in November. I'm heartbroken, I will miss her all my days. I am dreading tomorrow. Please join me if you would like to remember a pet you've loved and lost.

Had to have one of our girls PTS a fortnight ago. Bone cancer which hit her hard and fast. Really miss her especially in the mornings as she was always the first up.

Our not-very-old ddog was pts very recently. Miss her so much. It's very raw and I can't look at a pic without crying yet

We lost our beautiful boy in January. He was 15.

11 months later and I can still put my hand out expecting him to nudge it.

Lost my shadow in July. World’s best dog. I miss him so much.

Lost my Shaunie in February. Just made the mistake of watching the snow dog. So now I’m bawling 🙁

We lost our 14 year old boy this summer, he was part of our family since he was a small puppy. We were just talking about the Christmas he ate a whole tub of hotel chocolat rum soaked sultanas with no ill effect- had a cast iron stomach. Sadly missed but was much loved xxx

Actually last year - but he is so missed. A black lab, luckily there are many around to make me smile, but what a life, a loss, a love. I carry him with me.

We lost our beautiful cat this year. He was such a remarkable spirit and taught me so much.

I would also like to add my dsis’s beautiful westie girl who also passed recently, she was 18 and my sister is in bits, especially now, she has no human dc. I feel we need to celebrate their lives despite the pain, and it is real pain, a toast to all our amazing animals who still shine brightly and will forever.

We lost our old boy this summer. 15 years old, and a true gentleman. I miss him. He was such a sweet dog. He would reach up and gently mouth your fingertips as he walked beside you, or bop his nose on the back of your knee. He went down hill so fast at the end, and it broke my heart. The hardest part of owning a pet is when they leave you.

I haven’t lost any this year, which is unusual….I’m lucky enough to have lots of dogs and I tend to adopt the older ones so don’t get as long with them But I’ve lost so many over the years and I miss them all, every single day, and particularly at Christmas. They all have a special bauble on my tree. So, to Hilda, Malcolm, Millie, Moomin, Simon, Archie, Ears, Pigman, Hollie, Lulu. Beryl, Boomer and Hettie, I raise a glass. Mummy loves you very very much…..until we meet again xx

Lovely boy gone here too, the snowman and the snowdog was too much this year

We lost our much loved boy only last week. It was sudden and he was only ten. My springer spaniel, wise, calm, loyal and loving. There's a springer shaped hole in our house this Christmas x
