I lost my dog in November. I'm heartbroken, I will miss her all my days. I am dreading tomorrow. Please join me if you would like to remember a pet you've loved and lost.

Lovely naughty dog died in June. He was only 6 and it was very sudden and awful. DH is struggling with missing him.

I lost my beautiful girl late spring. It had been such a long wet winter and the weather had just turned and I was looking forward to lots of long lovely walks - and then suddenly she was gone.
I miss her every second of every day and I hope she knows how much she enriched my life. My heart hurts tonight.

Our first dog died this summer had cushings for a few years and her demeanor changed and she became snappy sometimes, she then developed what they believed was a stomach tumour and lost weight and finally wouldn't really walk anywhere and we knew it was time.

Going through photos for a personalised gift was hard reliving the decline and went to the vet a week ago and they suspect dog number 2 to have cushings and she's been the most placid dog I've ever seen.

Had to put our dog to sleep a few days ago. She started bleeding & then a tumour was found.

We had no notice at all. I still have a 6 pack of dog food that she never got to finish & I had no idea she was even poorly when I bought it.

I would of treated her so differently if I'd have known.

She had a lot of character flaws but I miss every one of them. Chewing up my kids toys, peeing on the floor, incessant barking to defend a wrapper she thought we'd want back....I wish I'd been nicer to her instead of telling her off for all of it. I'm devastated.

3 weeks since my old girl didn’t wake up one morning. She was 17 and I miss her little tappy feet trottering about the place.

Lost my old girl dog this year. She was 15.

I had to gnaw the carrot for the reindeer this year (so it looks like it's been eaten, obvs). She was always the one who did it. Brought a little lump to my throat.

My beautiful boy lost his life in October he was just over a year. I will miss him every day for the rest of my life. He really was perfect for me in every way.

Lovely idea. Lost my 21 year old girl in the spring. Hardest decision I have had to make but a beautiful and peaceful passing, so I was lucky in many ways. Not a day I don't miss her.

My nearly 10yr old dog died 05:20rs Tuesday morning (21st). A good friend helped us to bury him in our garden the day after, so he is still here with us. Our other dog saw him pass and went to sniff him, so seems to understand what happened. He is a bit subdued though. Lovingly thoughts to all who have lost a furry (or scaly) friend this year.

Us tooWine, I had a weep in front of his photo&pawprint in the kitchen this morning as I made breakfast. Knowing that his massive wet nose would usually be rimming the counter as I went along 😭.

He died a week after giving birth in September, he was 11, my best friend. I haven’t processed it yet I don’t think.
