Do you as a dog owner ever pick up other dogs poo?

Walking madam last night and came across a big pile of poo.

It was opposite a children's nursery and behind a secondary school so a big rush area for kids.

I would be furious if my children walked through it, so I picked it up and put it in the bin.

I had a spare bag and it didn't take me 10 seconds.

I can't understand why a responsible dog owner won't pick up their own dogs poo. I refuse to let others suffer for people's own laziness

It's not the first time I've done this and I doubt it will be the last

Yes, those poos are what I meant. It's the same for humans too.

people getting arsey about the blind man comment, you have all quoted half a sentence.

The person who wrote it clearly said that one side of the path was children playing (noisily) and other side of the path was just grass.
The objection was that the dog went on the kid's side.

I don't unless it's right near where my dog has crapped.
Some of the poo I've seen is awful, sure the dogs are ill or have worms. I make sure my dog stays well away!

I'm constantly picking up cat poo though, that winds me up no end, especially now I'm pregnant and should really avoid cat poo like the plague. Stood in the fecking stuff getting out the car a few weeks back. Usually they stick to the grass, not my drive (watched the bastard thing on my CCTV drop the offending log afterwards as well, as it looked quite big for cat poo)

No, I don't. Mainly because I have a weak stomach and It makes me gag. Especially when it's been there a while! I can cope with my dogs poop (specifically got a little dog because little poops!) but the thought of picking up an unknown dogs poop that could have anything in and is 'old' makes me feel sick 🤢

Yes, often. Love the phrase "karma poos"!

It means I have some credit in heaven if ever my dog does one and I don't notice.

I don't see the big deal about it. Dog shit is manky, yes - but better I deal with it with a bag, than it ends up on some 85 year-old's shoe and puts them off keeping active. You just have to get on with it and pick the poo up!

Always after my own dog, hardly ever after somebody else's. Do it if can't find my own dog's poo. Makes up for it i think😁

I’m not a dog owner but I clean up dog poo in the vicinity of my property/in my street. It makes me feel ill, I hate it and I waste a pair of gloves each time. The alternative is having anyone who comes to my door step in it. I can’t face the thought of it trod into my house.

Unfortunately I’d spend all our walking time picking up poo and my chaps wouldn’t get their run around if I stopped to pick up every pile we pass..... I always pick up after mine when they have done their business though.
