My lovely old doggie was put to sleep today.

I just wanted to tell someone. I loved that silly old dog.

It took a long time to make. I chickened out of it about a month ago.

I know what that feeling is like Eeyore, our last dog many years ago had to be pts and we struggled for weeks with the decision, I thought it was time but my DP was clinging to the hope that she may miraculously get better and I think it is impossible to make the decision when one of you disagrees. Thankfully as I believe in the hereafter, I think she is now running freely in heaven without any more pain from her hips . Do you have any other dogs?

Yes we have two others. They are keeping me occupied. I could never be without a dog.

We'd had Toby since he was 1. He came from Battersea after being left tied up outside a police station. He lived a very spoilt life

I'm glad you have other dogs, to me, a house without any dogs (or pets) seems so empty.
