Morning, just starting a new thread for when the last one fills up.

👀 light up at the promise of Turkish coffee .
I gave no idea what corn porridge and cheese will be like but I trust @sashh 's food to always be good so I will give it a go.

Can anyone explain why my robot vac has just sprung into life at 1.15am ?
It's only meant to run once a day at 11am

Robot vac knows you are awake so is keeping you company.

I had quite a big dinner but I'm awake so maybe just a milkshake for now and a sit in that comfy beanbag! (I presume the Happy Place Cafe makes them easy to get back out of!!!)

Ooh, corn porridge sounds interesting. Might give the Turkish coffee a miss though, I've tried that before and hoo boy is it strong, and I definitely won't get any more sleep if I have that.

Good morning. I've just had a no-sleep night, my second one in three weeks. I gave up once it got properly bright at about 5am and just got up. I'm just going to sit here, grumpily nursing my coffee (black, no sugar obviously ). DH and the teen DC left yesterday to go to the US for 12 days, which might be the reason that I didn't sleep. Fortunately there's nothing planned for today, although I was hoping to get a lot of sewing done while they're away, but that can wait until tomorrow.

Hands @BlackAmericanoNoSugar a large pot of coffee.

I might have a shower and then go to the supermarket before I get any tireder. It'll be nice and quiet, I hate shopping in a busy supermarket. I'll just have a large cup of your delicious coffee first @sashh, made from freshly ground Monsoon Malabar beans, my favourite.

Ice bar, fountain & pool, sounds like a winner! If you need me, I'll be wallowing like a hippo

Toast, white, brown, bagels, crumpets and potato cakes with a selection of jams, marmalade, conserve, Bovril, Nutella and marmite.

A bit of a late start for me today so I'm making pancakes, Florence, of course disapproves and is making ultra thing crepes. There is a range of fillings, savory and sweet.

Fernando has been making home brew and it is ready, so have a pint of Fernando beer or a tea / coffee.

Aha, here you all are. Pancakes is just what I fancy this morning. The thick ones with lots of maple syrup please. Once I've washed them down with a pot of tea, I might see if I can fit in one of Florence's crepes too. Why not?

My cat is cross with me today because we're starting some building work she wasn't consulted on. Could you perhaps rustle up some roast turkey for her, to cheer her up? She usually only gets that at Christmas.

Roast turkey is not a problem, I also have ham (very small amounts, I know it's not good for their kidneys) cat milk and there is a cat mint bush in the garden.

Could I have a crepe with apple and cinnamon please? And any chance of a galette with mushrooms and cheese for lunch? I’ve had a restless night.
