Today I'm doing eggs, boiled, poached, scrambled, convent, baked, boiled and deep fried.

Florence is making a range of breads to go with the eggs and Fernando is making champagne cocktails.

Please can I have a couple of poached eggs on granary bread .

I'm still not 100% so I'm making a range of teas, early grey, green, white leaved tea and some herbal infusions.

Florence is making biscuits and crackers to soak up the tea and Fernando has a range of spirits to add a drop to your tea.

Some crackers would be lovely, along with tea! Have been up for ages as DD isn't sleeping well. We are also moving in the morning...

Well it is almost the weekend so I feel a nice relaxing breakfast buffet.

Help yourselves to cereal, fruit juice, various fruits, bread rolls (Florence has done some with poppy seeds and some with ginger) butter, james, marmalade and of course tea and coffee.

Fernando is making cocktails with fruit juice and champagne.

Well it is the weekend so for any late starters I think I'll do a brunch.

Bagels, rye bread, brown and white toast, jaffles.

Various pancakes, sweet and savory with fruit, honey, maple syrup, bacon.

Eggs, fried, oiled, poached, convent and scrambled.

Florence is making madeleines and Fernando is making bucks fizz.

I’m going to have coffee and throw the light ball around outside for the bumblecats for a bit.
Blueberry pancakes with bacon and maple syrup will be a delicious treat later.

Morning! It's a lovely day here today. I'm going to wrap up and sit in the garden with the bumblecats. What are convent eggs?
Pancakes sound lovely. I'd like banana pancakes like the ones I used to get from a from a Thai run diner in San Francisco, do you think Florence could make them? The bananas are dropped into the batter and they go all caramelized.

Convent eggs are baked with cream in the oven, you can add other things like truffle.

I'm getting better but slowly.

Good morning! Please could I have a big stack of pancakes with whatever toppings Florence recommends? The Thai caramelised banana suggestion sounds great. And maybe I'll have two cups of tea at the same time. It's that kind of day, I think.

I usually can't sleep because DP is snoring, but now I can't sleep because I'm worried about DP who is in hospital. Also wondering who is pacing up and down past my hotel room repeatedly at 3am. Think I will treat myself to a real life stack of pancakes in the morning.

I'll keep the pancakes on the menu today, both american and UK style with fruit and syrup.

I'm also going to stuff some with cheese and mushrooms and bake until they are crispy.

Florence is making blinis to keep with the theme and Fernando has some pomegranate liqueur he is experimenting with.

I've never tried a pomegranate liqueur, but pomegranate juice is such a strong flavour it almost tastes alcoholic on its own. I'll see what Fernando comes up with an give it a go.

Morning. had abit of a relapse yesterday so I'm sitting in the garden under a heated throw.

Florence is making scones, fruit and lane with cream and jam. Fernando is making Brandy Alexanders.

It's been cold here the past few mornings so I think I will will make a pan of porridge to share.
