😁

Is there any way Florence could make some brie scrambled egg to eat with a baguette? It's amazing.

I have been up playing My Little Pony since 430 so need something indulgent!

sashh · 27/08/2023 06:53

Brie scrambled egg? I'm sure she can (I might have to try that today - do you leave the skin on brie?)

Mummaluma · 27/08/2023 08:24

@sashh I do! Chop it up and cook it in. It is delicious (but sadly no brie in my fridge this morning)

ScottBakula · 27/08/2023 10:46

@sashh
I love the t-shirt !

I am not a tea Drinker at all but coffee and biscuits would go down rather well , especially if you can get lotus biccys

@Mummaluma I have brie , eggs and bread so I am definitely going to try this later today 😛

Mummaluma · 27/08/2023 12:39

@ScottBakula best eaten with freshly toasted sourdough (or baguette) and a fresh tomato salad (plus a glass of fresh apple juice or wine)

StopStartStop · 28/08/2023 00:28

Morning! i don't know if anyone else is around - I'll help myself to apple juice if there's some in the fridge. Hope you're all sleeping soundly.

sashh · 28/08/2023 01:45

morning.

@StopStartStop I'm glad you feel at home.

OK I'm making scrambled egg on toast with a tomato salad for everyone.

The egg can have brie, cheddar, smoked salmon, ham or nothing extra in it.

Florence is making croisants, so you can have scrambled egg on croisants if you prefer, although there is a selection of breads including sourdough, soda bread, bagels and multigrain.

Fernando is making fruit juice cocktails and mocktails.

fivetriangulartrees · 28/08/2023 03:54

I'm not in the mood for eggs but a mountain of bread and brie with tomato salad would be lovely please, with one of the orangey mocktails.

Sorry to have to raise this in such a fine establishment, but have the bumble cats been getting their flea treatment recently? I'm being kept awake by sudden itching.

sashh · 28/08/2023 07:01

Yes the bumble cats are regularly deflead, but a couple of people have brought their own pets in so I'll spay after close of business.

OP posts:
Mummaluma · 28/08/2023 07:33

@sashh breakfast of dreams. Brie scrambled eggs with toasted sour dough, please, with Fernando's choice of mocktail (ideally ones that the kitten bees will leave alone).

sashh · 28/08/2023 09:02

Spray not spay, I'm not a vet.

One brie scrambled eggs, I sugest the pommegranite, it's a little sour for kittenbees.

@StopStartStop I'm glad you feel at home.

I can feel it...

sashh · 29/08/2023 07:12

Morning.

Well with all that chaos with air traffic control I've taken a delivery of airline food. I've given F and F a day off, Florence would faint at the sight of airline pastries.

So please take one of the tiny trays with a breadrool and butter straight out of the fridge, a cheese onlette with grilled tomatoes on the side, cartons of fruit juice and a couple of stranded aircrew are going to come round with tea, coffee and chambagne.

I'm going to put the soundtrack to 'come from away' on in the background.

ScottBakula · 29/08/2023 20:58

The last time I was on a plane (many moons ago ) I think if I could of thrown the omelette out of the window it would of bounced right back up to me ! But I am sure yours are not like that @sashh .

I think a nap with one of the odd smelling eye masks will do for now but can somebody wake me up with coffee and toast in a few hours.

sashh · 30/08/2023 02:50

Morning.

I see airline food is still as unpopular as ever. I'll just take a seat in a wingback chair and wait for orders.

I have a friend booked on a flight 6.15 this morning, He is hoping it is cancelled so he can sleep in a bit longer.

Morning
I’ve brought a small beach ball for the bumble cats to play with.
Could I have baguette with butter and apricot jam please? And a large coffee.
I’m going to sit outside to watch the sun rise.

sashh · 30/08/2023 06:12

@MinnieMountain That's so kind of you, I'm sure they will enjoy playing, I'll bring out the baggette and coffee.

MinnieMountain · 30/08/2023 08:24

I was going to bring balloons but that could have got noisy 😁

sashh · 30/08/2023 08:30

Balloons migh scare them.

OP posts:
ScottBakula · 30/08/2023 08:46

My Ddog loved playing with balloons, every time he popped one his face was a picture ' what the fuck ! Where did it go ? '

Are there any kippers @sashh ?

sashh · 30/08/2023 10:04

No problem, kippers with butter and some nice bread on the side.

OP posts:
ScottBakula · 30/08/2023 21:57

Thank you @sashh much appreciated.

sashh · 31/08/2023 01:45

Morning.

Well my carer is currently in Japanese airspace about to land in Osaka so breakfast will be Japanese.

So frresh steamed rice, miso soup, natto (fermented beans, not to everyone's taste), tamagoyaki, ohitashi and otsukemono.

Florence is disgusted there are no pastries so is making black forest gateaux and Fernando is serving saki.

OP posts:
MinnieMountain · 31/08/2023 05:04

Morning
Rice, omelette, miso soup and pickled vegetables sounds very civilised.
