HappyHuggy · 02/07/2005 19:17

thats really upset me, wish i could do more to help.

hunkermunker · 02/07/2005 19:18

Why all the swaering from the stars?

hunkermunker · 02/07/2005 19:19

Swearing.

tiffini · 02/07/2005 19:20

As long as they raise alot of money, they can swear as much as they like.

tiredemma · 02/07/2005 19:21

they should have a swear jar...

tiffini · 02/07/2005 19:22

Good idea!!

Are they raising money though? Thought it was about awareness. It smacks of trying to imitate Bob Geldof's "Give us your fucking money" misquote.

RTKangaMummy · 02/07/2005 19:23

I have a feeling madionna just did it on purpose

why does she need to swear?

OP posts:
emily05 · 02/07/2005 19:24

hunkermunker - I thought that as well. Because Bob will always be know for his comments he made at live aid, it is like she is wanting to be 'remembered'

I do know there's a much bigger issue than whether or not they swear, just in case anyone's wondering...

BUT I don't think it's necessary to swear (Snoop Dog sang motherfucker, I believe) in a concert like this - it's being broadcast well before the watershed. I sound like a right old prude, I'm not, but I don't think that words like motherfucker should be used at 6pm.

Alannah · 02/07/2005 19:26

Love Madonnas Chav Chic dancers

sorrel · 02/07/2005 19:28

mrs ritchie's looking quite well for her age. DD just went puce when she swore tho!!!

wordgirl · 02/07/2005 19:30

I'm with you hunkermunker. I made a conscious decision not to swear in front of my children and I don't let them watch any TV after the watershed so it really bugs me.
Anyway hasn't anyone told her "It's not big and it's not clever"

sorrel · 02/07/2005 19:31

yeh well neither is she( big and clever thatis!)

Libb · 02/07/2005 19:32

I have been dipping into it this afternoon - what is wrong with the audience? like Shaun of the Dead . . .

Are they going to have to drop some of the line up I make it they are nearly 2 hours over schedule and do they have enough lights for that crowd???

I always think I don't like madonna but (swaering apart) she is the consummate profeesional...
