awww it is nice to see people enjoying the cameras thouhg. It was a thoughtful touch just a little tacky.

expatinscotland · 29/10/2008 20:41

please, NOT PoodleHead.

megcleary · 29/10/2008 20:42

why would you not have red wine?

zippitippitoes · 29/10/2008 20:42

here

for example not very well described on here tho i wouldnt book on the strength of that info

spookycharlotte121 · 29/10/2008 20:42

im with expat. that woman can not win!!!

expatinscotland · 29/10/2008 20:43

you should pay as much attention to the beverages as you do to the food, particularly with a Frenchie. the beverage compliments the food.

PictureThis · 29/10/2008 20:43

that dessert looked nice (the one at raymonds restaurant)

Saturn74 · 29/10/2008 20:44

lol - 'raymond is such a dude' was as much as i could manage to type comfortably with one hand, as am snuggling ds1 with other arm.

Carmenere · 29/10/2008 20:44

OMG wine is SO important, I would be extra-ordinarily surprised if the poodles wine because of the lack of red wine.

PictureThis · 29/10/2008 20:44

I don't know which way this is going to go

spookycharlotte121 · 29/10/2008 20:46

Lol humfrey Im still chuckling at that comment! I think that was a total disaster not having red wine. My foster dad hates white wine and would go with red every time.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 29/10/2008 20:46

No red wine/port and an unambitious menu

expatinscotland · 29/10/2008 20:46

it's the Orient Express!

take a RISK.

it's about going out there and getting into the role, the food, the wine, the aperatifs, whipping the passengers into the spirit.

for my mother and her sister, it was the trip of a lifetime.

they went all out.

and the food was an integral part of their experience.

twinsetandpearls · 29/10/2008 20:46

I think the poodle will wine at the lack of wine.

PictureThis · 29/10/2008 20:47

Raymond loves those boys

twinsetandpearls · 29/10/2008 20:47

I agree it is a once in a life time experience you do not want poached salmon.

twinsetandpearls · 29/10/2008 20:48

Not looking at MN now as we are 5 mins behind and dont want a spoiler

spookycharlotte121 · 29/10/2008 20:49

those vegetables did look ming!!!

megcleary · 29/10/2008 20:49

please not michelle

PictureThis · 29/10/2008 20:50

Look at michelle smirking at 'le terrible turnip experience'

expatinscotland · 29/10/2008 20:50

poodle's not a wine drinker.

but it appears Ali has learned how important the drink is imperative.

PROPER aperatif before the meal. do some reasearch on what one is and how it needs to pique the appetite.

these people are eejits.

spookycharlotte121 · 29/10/2008 20:51

Hahahaha ladies please stop you keep making me laugh and I keep waking dd. Im howling @ "le terrible turnip experiance' hahahaha

FiveGoMadInDorset · 29/10/2008 20:51

Her smile is wavering and here come the tears?

spookycharlotte121 · 29/10/2008 20:52

Come on he has to pick the boys. they have so much more potential that the sappy woman!

expatinscotland · 29/10/2008 20:53

he's creative. he takes risks. he takes criticism and tries to learn.

and michelle's still smirking.
