new to Bob the Builder world - what exactly IS the relationship between Bob and Wendy??

the subject title says it all really. ds has just discovered Bob and dh and i have been trying to work out what the relationship is between bob and wendy. have seen the episodes where they met as "kids" but later episodes suggest some unresolved sexual tension we reckon.. there must be someone out there who has seen every episode and knows?? thanks

Definite UST - well, Wendy fancies Bob, at least. I have a feeling Bob may not be Into Girls...

I am obviously missing out on some major bob storylines.

Still, I suppose it's my own fault. The kids watch it so quietly and raptly that I tend to mumsnet get on with essential housework when it's on.

And who fancies who in Fireman Sam? Was a bit shocked the other day when I was (sorry, DS and I were) watching an early episode when Elvis meets enny for the first time and is clearly smitten. I was quite suprised. And does Dilys fancy Trevor of have I been reading too much into it?

it says in a BtB book we have that wendy is bob's partner - but watching the barn dance episode with the awkward "goodnight" at wendy's door, i can only assume they mean partner in the professional sense.

agree it is ambiguous! don't think DS1 (3) picks up on it though!

gosh, now you mention it most of these kiddies shows are rife with unspoken love/lust. I guess the poor souls who write them must have to do something to keep themselves amused when writing the scripts..

While we're at it... what about Upsy Daisy and Iggle Piggle? I think he's probably her gay best friend but they seem to occasionally cross the line...
