Posted before the series started but haven’t been able to keep up .
I think the episodes are slowing down a bit , not as exciting as last week . I don’t think the recruiters could have recruited Joanne as she is so chaotic and random. She would have probably given them away . James Blunt was equally as bad as her for random theories / spotting traitors but at least he was aware of this afterwards and is sensible generally .
I think Kenny will be a great traitor . Loved Bash , Miranda and him galloping .
Maya is a brilliant traitor , so devious and she defintely manoeuvred to get Kenny in as a traitor as better for her as he is one of her friends there .

I think recruiting was a silly decision based on Maya wanting someone other than the pallid and reluctant James A in the turret — they should have just murdered.

Feeling really quite sorry for James A actually.

Both dd and I loved the corridor galloping, and I have to fess up here - I have actually done that down a long school corridor when nobody was looking.😂

Pistachiomonster · Yesterday 12:17

I don’t mind Miranda, Bash, Michael Sheen, Ramesh, Jo, Ross, Jerry, Blunty, Sharon or Shannon. Don’t like the others and the Traitors are dull as dishwater this year.

User451278 · Yesterday 12:21

I thought the skipping in the corridor performative tbh. Strikes me as the type of person who declares themselves as ‘I’m mad me’ while being a complete bore in reality.

HoldMyWine · Yesterday 12:22

I agree the celebrities this year are pretty boring. I’m surprised at how quiet Micheal Sheen is. There’s not much in the way of personality in there.

Maggiethecat · Yesterday 12:22

Romesh’s name seems to have morphed on here.

It’s bloody autocorrect. Happened to me last week but I caught it in the editing window.

Well, we get a tiny fraction in the edit. He could be a giant character and we're simply not seeing it yet, because people who were being banished or murdered, or under suspicion, were getting more screen time. Or he's deliberately keeping schtum as a strategy.

Which I agree is not very interesting TV, but it's a tried and tested survival strategy for longevity in the game.

Yes it reminded me of school too.

Minah was fab. Love to see her back.

We need an all-stars version - bring back all those who made their series memorable and get them to play each other. Mina, Harry, Paul, Diane, Wilf etc...

I don't think he would drop that hint - I saw it this morning and thought maybe he has a new song coming out (about farming?😂) or more likely it is a hint to the mission - perhaps they have to drive something?

Yes it turned out that the tractor riding is the video for his single circles and the video was released today 😂

Notanotherrestructure · Yesterday 13:15

Michael Sheen has said a couple of times that his strategy is to lay low in the castle. He knows that’s a good strategy for longevity. I have a feeling he won’t make it to the end though.

I think Kenny will be great but I wonder if his personality will change a bit for others to notice?

Also, I think Jerry Hall might make a good Traitor - she comes across as lightweight, not much substance but I think there’s a steely core in there and we’re not seeing the real Jerry.

If the series keeps going, they probably will. They've certainly done it several times with longrunning reality TV series like Survivor.

OsfameronTanamoril · Yesterday 13:19

I would love an All Stars civilian Traitors.

She gives me the impression of being away with the fairies.

It would be very cut-throat, I imagine! And people making alliances based on those who'd been in the castle with them -- or, I suppose, forming alliances against people they blamed for their own banishment...

I love cut throat! I don't like all this wibbling and weeping that some Faithfuls do.
I remember in one series a Faithful cried so much about someone being murdered somebody actually said " You do realise she's not actually dead?".
It's nof Ms Congeniality!

CaveMum · Yesterday 14:08

Hear me out - All Star Traitors, but every player has to be a former Traitor, whether OG or recruited. That would be epic, no one would trust each other!

Yes it reminded me of school too.

I did it only the other week! My hobby group meets in a school hall, and there was this long corridor, and I thought 'Miranda would gallop down this corridor' and nobody was looking... 😁

I don't think you can make assumptions about how well-off people are though. None of us really have any idea about other people's personal finances.
And how many famous people DON'T go on telly and risk making fools of themselves/work hard physically and mentally to make money for charity?

I get what you're saying but I come from the entertainment/media industry and have a pretty good idea.
I really don't think that you can use the argument that they are working 'hard physically and mentally to make money for charity' quite frankly. They chose to be there, they get a fee and it's massive exposure on prime time tv.
I have no sympathy, the poor darlings🙄

DBSFstupid · Yesterday 14:29

Shedmistress · Yesterday 09:55

Yes I totally agree, that was my point. They are getting much more between them than the eventual charity will ever get so just stop now, donate their fees rather than take them and then all the charities will win.

Yes this. Sorry I got the wrong end of the stick.

MyballsareSandy2015 · Yesterday 14:55

Stowickthevast · Yesterday 10:51

Agree with @AlwaysExtraHot . I know a couple of comedians and they are not particularly well off. James A looked round a house near me (sadly didn't buy it) a couple of years ago, it's just a normal terraced London house in not great condition as the sellers were a group of hippy trustafarians playing house with Daddy's cash. Not cheap as we're in London but not silly money either. Think King Kenny has also been spied near by.

Obviously Jerry, James B, Michael Sheen and probably Leigh-Ann are rich but not sure about the rest of them.

I’m pretty sure Romesh and Rob are worth a few quid … they do a lot of TV as well as massive sold out tours.

I love Joanne. Her podcast with Vogue Williams is hilarious and I certainly don’t think she’s thick, far from it. This isn’t showing her in her best light imo.

Even if you have a good idea of what all comedians/ex-models/actors are being paid (and I'm sceptical about that), you have no idea about people's personal circumstances: how much they might give to charity, how much they might need to support a family member's health/care needs, what debts they may need to service etc.

And I'm quite aware that they chose to be on it, they get paid and they get exposure – although thanks for the patronising explanation of that. My point, which I thought was quite clear, was that many celebs are not doing The Traitors; so, if you want to criticise anyone for how much money (you think) they make, why not criticise the ones who are not on telly doing challenges (and they are hard work, however many eye-rolls you do) to raise money for charity?
