I’m a bit behind here (not finished the ep yet) but it’s been really uncomfortable viewing for me re Omar. He is so fucking rude! If you are ignorant about something, rather than make assumptions (faux naive as though he doesn’t know if she can fly on a broomstick 🙄) you go to someone with curiosity, not accusation. He is completely unable to cope with her referencing his religion because he knows that for some, there are negative connotations associated with organised religion, including his.

Yaz is being unfairly treated too. She was too willing to accept that shit stirrer title and now every time she is involved in anything, her fault or not, people fall back on the “oh she’s a shit stirrer” dynamic. She is no better or worse than Omar, Rochelle, Phillip,
or Rihanna. They are all at it. I also think that Omar talks to her in that way because she isn’t sexually appealing to him, so she is essentially dismissed.

I don’t love Twinks but she hasn’t done anything to deserve half the house whispering about her and ganging up on her within 24 hours. They are trying to dull her shine and put her in her place which is gross to witness.

I wonder if it will be face to face nominations this week.

I think it’s because the other new housemate hasn’t posed a threat to them (their position in the hierarchy of the house, their airtime etc). She was shy upon entry, smiled and waved. Twinks is a big and confident personality and that has a way of getting people’s backs up (which provokes a ‘who does she think she is, she needs putting in her place’ response in self conscious and bitter people).

Twinks hasn’t been unkind to anyone, she hasn’t gossiped or slagged anyone off, yet there is a cohort in the house who has explicitly decided that they will not give her a chance, will not make an effort with her etc. They have sat, slagged her off and demonised her. It’s unnecessary and giving mean girl behaviour!

I think someone calling themselves Twinks would have me eye rolling and that's before I found out she was also calling herself a witch.

I hope Rochelle and Omar can't nominate as a punishment.

I think she was very patient in her interactions with Omar actually, a lot of people wouldn’t be so calm in response to his disrespect. Do you think because she’s a witch she has to remain positive at all times and isn’t allowed to feel upset, vulnerable or overwhelmed?

Face to face nominations this week - that’ll mix things up a bit although i think it’ll mean Rochelle & Philip are safe as people will be too afraid to nominate them due to the backlash. Newbies are exempt.

Why did Twinks say it would be a bad thing if she went round the house telling people someone was a Muslim? I don't understand why that would be so terrible.

I wish BB would stop messing around with rule breakers and just take away their votes. Otherwise, what's the point? They can all plan together who to vote for and there's no meaningful consequence.
