'Mum' on iPlayer. Definitely give 'Detectorists' another go. 'Schitt's Creek' is on iPlayer now as well - it's a bit of a slow burner and you won't like any of the characters in the first few episodes, but that will make sense and it turns into something wonderful. 'Remarkably Bright Creatures' is a lovely film - I think it's on Netflix.

Yes, Gilmore Girls, Chesapeake Shores, Parenthood, Sullivan's Crossing, Sweet Magnolias. There's loads of lovely family dramas on Netflix. No drugs, knife crime, murder etc. none of that, just good wholesome stories.

There’s a few Scandinavian ones people recommend too - Pernile? Something else? On Netflix.

The Other Bennett Sister is the best thing I've watched in the past year, and is wonderfully wholesome (unlike most of my viewing).

Little House On The Prairie - new version on Netflix.

I love this. I watch other series in between, some are lovely, but I always go back to this. Funny, sad, thought provoking, and amazing cast. Amazing writing.

Jam and Jerusalem is very wholesome, but I’m not sure where it’s available free. There are lots of clips on YouTube, but I can’t see anywhere else.

Another vote for this. It's a wonderful show that feels a bit like a hug.

If you fancy something a bit weirder. Resident Alien. It's about an alien that lands in small town America intent on destroying the planet and ends up becoming the town doctor.

It's weird, and a bit gross at times, but has a strong found family vibe that makes me smile.
