Same here re who I’ll vote for if they go (assuming we finally get to choose) but I’ll still watch it - I’ll just be angrily watching 🤣

Like HOW can julia and lorenzo be put at risk of going after theyve been voted favourite boy and girl in the last 2 public votes (I heard via a leak that they won the last one which wasnt announced).

Instead we could end up with a final of Jas and Kav, Simba and Angie and Yas and Tommy. It's utterly ridiculous.

I hope Yaz and Tommy win, hopefully he’s genuine about his ex, who knows.
Can’t see it with the other couples, I think Jas and Lorenzo will be together in about 6 months on a yacht, simba despite praying daily for strength will be caught red handed and dumped by Angie, and Kav will possibly be giving someone else or maybe Charleen the same old lines. Julia also on a yacht, and giving opinions. lol.

I think Mica and Samraj care about perception and know Lorenzo/Julia popular. I think they’ll go with Tommy & Yas just because they got the next amount of votes as that doesn’t put the heat on them.

Yep, aftersun is on now, not very interesting. Priya still claiming she and Aidan can be a thing. I mean, girl, no.

I’m not as fussed on Yas she’s sweet, I loved Martha v witty and not really your usual Love Island girl, absolutely stunning.

Loved Mara too and I think Lorenzo & Julia going to do so well after this.

Least favourite in no particular order Aidan, Kav, Finlay, Priya and Mica

Very similar but Angelista would be up here with Yaz. Then Charleen. The women were really good again this year. Lorenzo was stand out among the boys.

100% agree. I thought Maya should have been more assertive in managing the contributions as Priya would just not shut up!
Regardless of the question asked, she was using her moments to soapbox about the things she had been criticised for. Awful girl; her parents should have taught her better manners.

Very strange that Mica and Samraj have been given so much power the day before final. I’ll turn off if they vote Lorenzo and Julia out. Simba and Angelista to win if they do get booted out but I won’t be watching if that is the case! I thought last night that Kav looked really angry about being given a couple of votes (imagine how he’d have been if actually really in firing line). Jas looked cross and like she was thinking don’t kick off…don’t kick off! He is my worse person in there now and as a couple they are so unsuited. It’s true that the only time he was himself was in Casa and she is just playing the biggest game out of remaining contestants.

I’m not a big fan of Jas because I found herself and Mica a bit mean girl but I do think she really likes Kav.

I doubt they will last though because they have far too many challenges age difference, temperament, where they live, the fact that Jas is outstandingly beautiful and Kav is not at that level.

It is strange and I can only think that the producers want a certain couple to win and that couple is not currently the most popular with the public. So Mica and Samraj can take out the most popular couple - probably Julia and Lorenzo who are trying hard to show their feelings are growing but are unlikely to be an enduring couple. I can imagine producers also thinking they would be unpredictable in post show media which might harm the show’s brand.

Of the remaining couples I think the producers would like to see Angie and Simba win. He has made his mistakes but they are now in love (or so they say) so their story matches the show’s values. He is standing up for what’s right (Julia) plus there is often criticism that non white islanders are not popular so a black couple winning would disprove that. The show feels very much producer driven this year - so few public votes resulting in dumpings gives the producers more control (and they also control the edit) and they obviously know all the results of the votes so know who would be winners if they left it to the public.

Or perhaps Tommy has other skeletons in his closet besides a recently dumped girlfriend and they need him and Yas to be dumped before they win?

I’m not a fan of Julia but it is really shit that her and Lorenzo might not make the final because of one previously dumped couple.

I think the producers like having the islanders make decisions because their decisions are more predictable than the audience’s (they can just ask them before who they would vote for, like they do with recouplings).

That said, Julia & Lorenzo only became exclusive the day before, and are the only couple left in the line up that haven’t said they love each other.

Would Samraj do that to Lorenzo?

I don’t think either Samraj or Mica would want the backlash, they understand being on the side of the public. I don’t think either of them would vote out public favourites. I honestly think the only option is Tommy & Yas.

I think whatever happens Lorenzo & Julia will have great careers after this. The majority of the other cast members will fade into blah.

Mara & Charleen I think will get invited back for All stars. Probably but hopefully not - Aiden too! The new messy Mitch or commitment phobe Casey. I think Casey is in the closet personally. I’ve never been keen on the Debrief girls bar Yas, I preferred Amy & Indiyah.
