Casper enjoyed playing with Iga last year, and he seems to be enjoying playing with Diana as well.

I still don't like the format - but at least Diana has a good doubles pedigree, along with her singles game. Seems to be more of a 'thing' in the womens game recently, to be able to maintain some sort of doubles career and a singles one.

Casper seems to be getting over his injuries. Playing mixed didn't help him in the singles draw last year though.

I ended up watching bits and pieces of the mixed doubles — once I worked out that the place to find the on demand feeds was under 'US Open qualifying' in the app—because of course NowTV The end of the match between Casper/Diana (Schnuud?) and Andrey/Mirra was very entertaining. Was happy to see Carlos back, although I hadn't missed Serena. Was surprised by how good Flavio is at doubles, unlike Carlos who never has any idea where to stand. I see the final rounds are very late tonight so I guess I won't be watching.
