I've just read that RBA has retired. He played his last match at Wimbledon, on the first day (lost to Fonseca)- and announced his retirement on Sunday.
I'll miss RBA.

Yes, I think RBA played an exhibition match last week in Spain and then retired. I think he was planning on playing until the end of the year but his ranking dropped a lot, meaning he would be reliant on wildcards, so decided enough was enough.

He had a great career and I hope he enjoys his retirement.

I’ll also miss RBA - he had a good run a few years ago as well as doing well in Davis Cup

I saw the picture of them all together- Rafa's taste in 'off duty ' shorts has always been a bit dubious. They are like the pattern of hospital gowns .
