If Coco never gets to a Wimbledon final, that match point on her own serve will haunt her for the rest of her days. That is a contender for the sporting choke of the year.

Pleased to see Jelena and her partner won the doubles.

Don't know if anyone else has seen them but I watched the first two programmes (of four, shown last week on Channel 5) about the 29 men who have been ATP World No1. Interesting and nostalgic. Episode 2 started with Stefan becoming No1, so obviously I enjoyed that and ended with Kafelnikov in 1999, I think.

I think I just saw the end of one of these last week kazza and remembered that you’d mentioned it - I’ll see if I can catch them up and maybe watch them next week when I will have a big Wimbledon shaped hole in my life

The BBC keep trailing Goolagong - it looks like a drama but not sure if it’s any good

Guardian review of the Goolagong drama. 3 stars. Might watch it but it doesn't sound brilliant, 'worthy yet syrupy', 'frequently charming but frequently lightweight'. They're definitely not selling it to me.

Fortunately , Flavio is safely playing miles away in Umag, in theory- otherwise he might lose the cow in transit. Or swap it for a sack of pasta.

Lorenzo Musetti is due to be back - fingers crossed- in Bastad. Casper is playing Gstaad. I will get the 2 tournaments mixed up regularly during the week. .

I've watched the first 20 mins or so of Goolagong . Won't be watching any more.

If you are all bored on Monday I could do a tribute to AC in honour of his retirement!

It's really annoying that it's rubbish- she's my mum's favourite player. She's such an inspirational woman (and did all the things- as a black woman/mother, first, that they keep acting like Serena is the only one to do). Sounds like a wasted opportunity.
