It’s a bit sad, but when I think of the things I cook, and cook well, I can probably rustle up about 30 dishes, but all very simple. No squid noodles, fermented buckwheat, nothing with agave, no squished duck. Have I wasted my life?

Looking at that bbq chicken I remember a restaurant in my youth where they had a machine that bbq’d chickens on a spit in the restaurant window, they would have loads of chucks cooking at the same time and they were delicious. In those days bbq was not at all common in the Uk so they were a real treat

Kristen has this if she pulls it off. Her dishes are a magnitude ahead of the others in originality and complexity.

How do they keep it warm? One of the mysteries of masterchef 🤷‍♀️
