Finally a women’s match scheduled for the night session - the first for 3 years.

I'm hoping it will be a tight one- they must be expecting it to be more than a straights sets walkover, if they have put it on there. It's not a given, obviously.

Having said that, Aryna is the highest seed left in the men/women's draws- so it would have looked really strange to schedule one of the men's matches then(especially as Felix- the highest men's seed in that half- was on there last night).

No-one is talking about Rublev winning the tournament- but he's won tournaments on clay, and if he manages to keep himself mentally together, he could have a chance.

But if he wins this, he potentially plays Casper next- so all bets are off. I would want Casper to win that one.

I have a ' watching Rafa' like nervousness about this match though.

2 sets for Mensik- Andrey was playing much better in that set, I really thought he might take in the tie break. But Mensik has a huge serve.

I don’t really mind who wins. I like Casper, but was very impressed with Joao the other day so would like him to go further. But on balance I think I slightly prefer Casper to win because Joao will have lots of opportunities ahead of him and while Casper’s not old he won’t have quite as many chances ahead as Joao does.

Andrey now two sets down in the other match.

Chessie I feel a bit the same. I never really got the Fonseca hype, before the last week. His matches were always built up- and then were a bit flat.

But he has years on Casper , so he will have time to win something else.
