MAFSAUS #22? The post-reunion. The men have emerged from the trenches with blacks belts in bullshit, fighting off flying pantyhose and ready to kiss even more trouts. Will Bec still be a mess? Will it all be too much for the baaaybe? DyanowaImean

Is this the end of MAFS? SA claims. No Mel.

Probably not. They will rebrand, refocus, claim to have learnt from the unacceptable mistakes that have happened, and just carry on.

Her style is nice but not crediting the company who supplied her with the clothes is not nice.

It was only one company - just the final vows wedding dress

She did credit them on her other account. Just not her main one. Although she has now.

They’ll just put Bec front and centre to say, on repeat “I apologise, the behaviour was unacceptable, a lot has been learned…BUT…”. Rinse & repeat.

Apparently 3 women on the UK one have said they were sexually assaulted.

Omg. WTF. 🤬 Shocking but not surprising sadly.

They apparently treated Brooke really poorly and tried to shut her up about trouble behind the scenes with her groom.

landlordhell · 18/05/2026 22:04

That Panorama special doesn’t surprise me. That Bradley guy was a weird one. I remember his controlling behaviour. The whole concept of having to share a bed with someone you just met is so wrong. Then being encouraged to be intimate by your peers AND the experts. I wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t come back on air .

murasaki · 18/05/2026 22:11

How odd, the panorama thread seems to have been hidden.

I guess it was down to speculation re the people involved.

Whataflippincircus · 19/05/2026 08:12

Yes, it’s been removed because of us naming people.

hellomylov3 · 19/05/2026 13:17

The contestants should not be expected to share the same room with a stranger. The first few nights at least they should have separate rooms imo.

kenyaswhiterefrigerator · 19/05/2026 17:35

Apparently they’ve axed the upcoming UK season.

Umanresources · 19/05/2026 19:48

I feel sad that Mel’s last series has been pulled, but I’m glad that she didn’t have to see how toxic it has become.

i was going to watch the US one, but I just can’t be bothered now. I just keep seeing Danny (who never wanted to be famous) on Instagram, trying to be funny. Still saying that people didn’t get his English humour.

EmeraldShamrock000 · 19/05/2026 21:14

I’d say that’s the end of it for the UK show. It might be across the board depending upon what else comes out, more allegations as there has been a few dicks on it, forcing intimacy, male and female.

Think it has already been said that the last series of Mafs Uk which has already been filmed won’t be aired

eta Aww someone has already posted that

EmeraldShamrock000 · 19/05/2026 21:21

I don’t want to get this thread zapped.
Looking back at Brad on the couch, I wonder did he tell the experts he liked to push boundaries sexually at the interview stage.

The ‘contributors’ must be furious. It’d wrapped, hadn’t it?

It’s a big time commitment to film - weeks. They apparently get paid loss of earnings. But presumably most have to give up work.

LeaveThem · 19/05/2026 21:51

There is no way surely that this is just a UK issue. Others, including Australia must have these awful incidents too…

OnTheBoardwalk · 19/05/2026 21:57

No way at all any blame whatsoever but surely the production team, at the first sign of any incident, should have called the police/specialist agencies? This was clearly more than what they able to deal with

On the wedding night/honeymoon, don’t they usually get a suite with a couch in the living room? And some couples do sleep apart. On the recent Aus one, believe Mel/Luke, Brooke/Chris and Steph/Tyson didn’t share beds.

Yes - it has already finished filming. I wonder if we will ever hear of the contributors?
Shona who appeared in Panorama doc put a statement on Instagram that was interesting. She said if you leave early then you don’t get paid - so those who don’t have jobs to go back to could struggle and could feel under even more pressure to stay.

Appears they may also have to come back for reunion (if invited) to get full fee. Perhaps on AUS one After the Dinner Party appearances are also a fee requirement too. Maybe that’s why Gia had to eventually do it.

Seriestwo · 19/05/2026 22:43

Sounds a bit like sexual coercion and financial exploitation?

The fee for appearing on the After The Dinner Party was alluded to in the final one last week - they'd asked Danny to come on, he gave radio silence and then said he wanted more £$£ which the two presenters said they hadn't agreed to. Nice little earner for the willing participants.
