After Tuesday's festival of Fire and Ice (with no Will Ferrell irony) and the truly wonderfully socked Australia/Austria Interval act from Cutprice Katherine Ryan and her pal Austrian Smashy I'm sure you all can't wait. Tonight sees a Eurovision song called "Ya Ya Ya". Could it be anymore Eurovision? Get your pleather and odd knee high boots on.

1 BULGARIA Dara - Bangaranga
2 AZERBAIJAN Jiva - Just Go
3 ROMANIA Alexandra Căpitănescu - Choke Me
4 LUXEMBOURG Eva Marija - Mother Nature
5 CZECHIA Daniel Zizka - Crossroads
FRANCE Monroe - Regarde
6 ARMENIA Simón - Paloma Rumba
7 SWITZERLAND Veronica Fusaro - Alice
8 CYPRUS Antigoni - Jalla
AUSTRIA Cosmó - Tanzschein
9 LATVIA Atvara - Ēnā
10 DENMARK Søren Torpegaard Lund - Før Vi Går Hjem
11 AUSTRALIA Delta Goodrum - Eclipse
12 UKRAINE Leléka - Ridnym
UNITED KINGDOM Look Mum No Computer - Eins, Zwei, Drei
13 ALBANIA Alis - Nân
14 MALTA Aidan - Bella
15 NORWAY Jonas Lovv - Ya Ya Ya

Ten to Qualify for the Final.
The UK CAN vote in this Semi Final (you vote in the semi you appear in).
Voting for participants opens after the last song has been performed.
Voting for the UK is ONLINE ONLY through the ESC website or app. You need to make a card payment - 15p per vote.

Non participating countries (Hello Ireland) can vote as part the Rest of The World from midnight before the Semi-Final until the show starts when voting closes temporary before reopening after the acts have all performed.

There is a limit of 10 votes per person.

CrushingOnRubies · 14/05/2026 21:09

Oooo this has that Je ne sais quois! Simple but effective. This is going to do really well

RedToothBrush · 14/05/2026 21:09

Piano. And Harp.

They really want to win.

I want a sparkly piano

Comefromaway · 14/05/2026 21:09

My husband is going to want that piano when he sees it

Fast800goingforit · 14/05/2026 21:08

Wtf was she doing with Brian Westlife?

I hope Australia does really well

That will be an eternal question. WTF was she thinking?

It’s got it all hasnt it!

Raahh · 14/05/2026 21:10

Tuesday was all knee high boots. Today is all the Swarovski crystals.

So far, I'm not wowed by this, it sounds like a very generic Eurovsion song.

Can't make out a word she's singing either (and I have subtitles) that might be an issue with the sound.

Fast800goingforit · 14/05/2026 21:10

The performance of the night there

OublietteBravo · 14/05/2026 21:10

Missed opportunity for a burning piano though. Haven’t had one of those for a while.

RedToothBrush · 14/05/2026 21:10

And a elevating platform.

Australia REALLY REALLY want to win.

In fairness she didn't marry him.

14goingon40 · 14/05/2026 21:11

If they won would it be in Australia or would they delegate it?

Raahh · 14/05/2026 21:12

She's going to hold a note for 28 seconds? My dog will have a fit.

Comefromaway · 14/05/2026 21:12

Another country would co host on their behalf

booksnbaking · 14/05/2026 21:12

Yes, full house for a drinking game - big dress, big hair, plinth, RISER, pyro, fire.

It would be somewhere else is my understanding. Like the UK perhaps! We like subbing as a venue.

I believe the condition of entry was that one of the big five would host on their behalf (Hello Australia we are your Besties)

Obscure folk instrument ✅

CrushingOnRubies · 14/05/2026 21:13

My dog has a had a long day. Massive walk and went to be clipped which isn’t her favourite. Think she finds Eurovision a bit overwhelming. But she might be able to get behind a 28 second note being sung

There were rumours they had an arrangement with Spain. But presumably that’s now off.

grumpymummy72 · 14/05/2026 21:14

They really need to sack tonight’s make up artist.

Comefromaway · 14/05/2026 21:14

Would generally have been U.K. or Spain. But we already hosted for Ukraine and now Spain have pulled out so…….

Raahh · 14/05/2026 21:14

Eek.

Consensus from my dog, is- that note was not worth the effort.

RedToothBrush · 14/05/2026 21:14

Ukraine are unfortunate to follow Delta tbf
