I’ve been to both Aus and NZ when younger (relatives there). Saw no sharks, no salties, 1 dangerous spider, no snakes. In NZ it’s very pretty lots of sheep. Nothing dangerous from my memory.

I spent 16 months in Australia including travelling the outback and camping at times and did not see a single huntsman or poisonous spider.

i did see sharks when diving and snorkelling. And swam in a river where I had seen a freshwater croc - not saltwater though. But no snakes.

Saw budgies in Aus, wild.
