When Danny Dyer turns up!

I’ve just read Riders, Rivals and now 1/2 way through Polo. I don’t have Disney+ though but really want to watch Rivals.

I think the Danny Dyer casting is spot on but I don’t see RCB as a blonde, I picture him as as someone who’s look more like Jacob Elordi or Rupert Everet (who I think plays someone different).

@EverythingIsComputer RCB is not blonde in the Rivals adaptation, he’s played by Alex Hassell who has dark hair

He isn’t ’Danny Dyer’ as you’d know him in the programme, he’s lovely in it, I got a bit of a crush on him 😂.

I had never heard of Rivals or Jilly Cooper until I joined MN, likely because I’m Canadian. After reading a few threads about her, I bought one of the books, I don’t know which one. I was bored a few chapters in and stopped.

But I thought I would give the miniseries a try and I absolutely loved it. I did not know who Danny Dyer was, but I, too, have a bit of a crush on him now. And Aidan Turner, has never looked sexier.

I also like Katherine Parkinson.

Loved rivals and was so excited for series 2 until dh informed me had cancelled our Disney subscription because no one watches it any more! He was not aware of my rivals obsession. He suggested I get a free trial under my name and binge it. Does this work anyone know?
