It’s why me and DP don’t live together even after being together for over 12 years.

He was saving to buy a place when we met. My credit rating wasn’t good enough to be on a mortgage with him. He now finally owns his own home, and even though my credit is much better, it’s just not quite where I need it to be yet.

So it means if I just moved in with him, he could chuck me out at any point. And I’m not about to give up my assured life long tenancy flat, to end up on the street because of a man thanks!

(Honestly it works for us, because if I lived with him, I may have buried him under the patio by now 🤣)
