Im sorry but as much as I like Sam/Colin, if someone sat down with a book of questions asking how sorry I was, have I learned, will I reflect, do I promise to not do it again - I’d have saddled up that nearest horse and got out of there. There was no conversation, just a list of bullet points! Lovely man but seems a little too vulnerable for this (shitshow) experiment.

The baby that Chris was a sperm donor for his lesbian friends was born that after filming ended. I wonder how much he has to do with her upbringing. Not much I bet!

Bet the gay friends with the baby have got a restraining order in place ....

BBB (Bastard Baby Buyer/Chris) banging on about his 7 apologies - the first 5 apologies were said with such snark, escalating pass-agg eye rolling - that's why the lovely Colin (Sam) wanted to get the opinion of the others at that last dinner party. And then he got the apology he had asked for. BBB with the £ behind him made the plans and expected the lovely Colin to go with it.

murasaki · 30/04/2026 11:27

Colin's book was way too much. I didn't like that he made me feel a tad in agreement with BB.

Alissa needs to stop self sabotaging. David seems lovely, I'm intrigued as to what the inevitable massive flaw must be.

Bec, well she needs to stop drinking and wake up. I did feel marginally sorry for Danny there. But he needs to be honest then run and get a restraining order.

BIossomtoes · 30/04/2026 10:26

I don’t think Sam is remotely needy. He wants and expects an adult relationship of equals and was given a spiteful, “my way or the highway” drama queen. It always seems to be the way with gay couples on MAFS, it certainly was with the one on the last UK season.

Agreed 👍

WallaceinAnderland · 30/04/2026 11:40

I loved Colin's book. I thought that was very clever. Get BB to admit all his faults and then dump him. Such a mic drop moment 😂

I don't get Alissa's mum's logic. She wants to have a baby so can't wait two years. But if she dumps David, then she has to meet someone else (not easy or she wouldn't be on MAFS) and have a baby with them within two years.

It makes no sense.

murasaki · 30/04/2026 11:50

Alissa's mum seemed to want the baby more than Alissa, like Alissa owed her a baby, NOW. Odd.

Piknik · 30/04/2026 12:05

Baby-busing aside, I think Sam is being ridiculous now to be honest. Yes he is lovely and seems very decent and sweet, but the Ixperts asked the BB how things might pan out and 'off the cuff' he gave a version of what might work. ALL he had to do was add 'obviously Sam and I haven't spoken about it so we'd need to agree what works for both of us'. But I honestly thought that was kind of a given. I didn't read his version of the future as a fait accompli.

All that was needed was

Sam: "Hey, I felt like you'd planned my life for me"
BB: "Sorry I was caught on the hop. I should have asked you to input. How do you see our future?"
Sam: "Fair enough. I'd like not to buy any babies please."

The end

Sam's list was awful.

AnSionnachGlic · 30/04/2026 12:37

I think Chris seems to be a very controlling individual. He has his life planned out in his head: career, house, kids and the only thing missing is a partner so he " orders" one from MAFS! However human relationships don't work like that and so no partner would have lived up to the criteria. Saying that, Sam is hard work!

WallaceinAnderland · 30/04/2026 12:58

It doesn't help that some people haven't seen what BB said about Sam on the last After Dinner Party.

Sam was shown a video clip of BB talking about him at last weeks dinner party, saying absolutely vile things. I expect that was the moment that Sam decided there was no coming back.

Shame that it wasn't included in the main dinner party episode last week because it does explain a lot!

Do you mean that clip of BB and Gia, where BB was accusing Colin of being a tightwad? That was absolutely horrible.

If I had the right plumbing I’d work hard on him any time!

I didn't see that to be fair.

Wtafmakeitstop · 30/04/2026 13:20

Wow, I blinked and you guys are four threads on! Caught up now and agree they’re all loons apart from possibly David who may just not have revealed his lunacy yet. Filip actually doesn’t seem to have done much wrong either. Danny and Scott both need rescue, hope they have a safe word before they disappear without trace.

murasaki · 30/04/2026 13:22

If I were Danny, I'd run back to Norfolk.

chaosmaker · 30/04/2026 13:40

I'm team Bec in that relationship. In Danny's words 'he dun her dirty'. Gives false hope all the time then makes her look secure by not being honest with what he says to the other couples.

InertBird · 30/04/2026 13:46

It feels like the production team are deliberately making Danny and Bec look shakier than they really are, with ominous music and lingering shots of Danny looking sweaty and awkward. Maybe I'm a weirdo but I like Bec Confused

Yes and he was saying he apologised even though he didn't need to apologise so no, it's not genuine at all. And doing that hand clapping thing when you're talking, making fun of Colin living with his best friend. Just nasty stuff with Gia there egging him on. Horrible for Colin to see. Can't figure out why he wrote stay though?

I assume Colin didn't see any of that footage of BB with Gia at the time? He must have thought the relationship was retrievable (they really had got on well to begin with after all) and wanted BB to care enough to make an effort, but it was obviously a lost cause. BB is a spiteful bitch.

Agreed 👍

he is being ruled by his gut feeling something you should always trust that Chris is a wrong un !

Ah yes, he wouldn't have seen it until later, that makes sense. He hadn't seen BB's true colours at that time.

Gonnagetgoingreturnsagain · 30/04/2026 14:08

Thanks for the new thread. I’ve just caught up with the latest episode.

Gonnagetgoingreturnsagain · 30/04/2026 14:22

Well I saw BBB and Chris breaking up but didn’t see Sam dumping him. That notebook though. I can kind of see that really Chris and Sam are on different pages lifestyle wise, Chris babies, Sam not there yet.

Alyssa’s voice actually got more normal at one point towards the episode, feels like David is waking up to her. Her mum though, whose mum says that stuff to them about biological clocks and babies?! Not my mum or not in that way. Cringey.

Bec’s house isn’t hers, well it is but daddy bought it for her I’m guessing, and the dog too. Her aunt and cousin seem sensible. How can Bec be blindsided by Danny? I agree with pp, she’s not using her intuition aka gut. Danny wants out and has wanted it for ages, he’s just saying/doing what Sid wants to see/hear.

murasaki · 30/04/2026 14:52

Alissa's friends were surprisingly good. I'd thought they were iffy earlier, but they spoke a lot of sense, particularly the dark haired one.

They were so sensible weren't they? Not afraid to call Alissa out. It made my estimation of Alissa go up, that she has friends like that.

Yes, maybe her recent bonkersness is because she hasn't had them there to tether her to planet earth.

dotdotdotdash · 30/04/2026 15:16

Just catching up. Colin is really making a meal of it isn't he? And his drab fashions are starting to bring me down too.

Alissa's a lot, but it's a lot for Alissa too. It's huge! Oh no, Alissa is literally spiralling. And David's pecs making an appearance obviously.

And Bec thinks Danny's stupid jokes (e.g. about her house being under the flight path etc.) are a defence mechanism, whereas I think he's just got a knobhead sense of humour and doesn't read the room.
