The annoying thing about Djok's loss, is that his ranking won't change. He didn't play Rome last year. So, he probably isn't as bothered by the loss as he would be - if, say, he loses first round at RG . Then it matters.
Rankings matter to Djok. It's bizarre that he's still 5 in the world , when he seems to hardly play- but he does well enoughin the slams to stay where he is.
He isn't currently meant to defend his title in Geneva next week- not sure if that will change and he might try for a wild card.
