Happy Easter (2026) Corrie fans! :) CORONATION STREET THREAD. **No spoilers please.**

Not much has changed since the start of the last thread - only been about 4 weeks since the last one was started.. So...... Following on from the last thread...

Carl hasn't been in it much this past few weeks, but still, no-one seems to be able to take him down. He's done so many bad things!

Mal is still dreadful.... and has just been beaten up by Kit (and tried to blame Dev,) but I think his game is up now Daniel heard him laying into Bernie (who he's been stalking!) Hopefully the stalking story is over, and Mal can leave!

Ma Driscoll was horrendous - but she is less horrendous I think. (Growing on me a bit.) Kit is still fit. Ronnie and Kevin's new double act hasn't advanced much 😆 (I was enjoying their bad cop/bad cop routine too.) Jim McDonald died recently, and it emerges that Ma Driscoll had a bit of a thing with him many years ago, when she had her son Ben! 👀

Debbie is still in prison. Not seeing much of her at the moment. Hopefully we see more of her soon!

Hope is still cheeky as ever.

Big story at the moment is Todd and Theo have just got married. They split up for a few weeks after Todd had just had enough of him, but Theo concocted a plan to make Todd miss a race he had been training for, and got back into Todd's head (and bed!) Then Theo railroaded Todd into a 'surprise' wedding, as he hadn't cancelled the booking at the Registry Office. Theo is really cruel and abusive to Todd, and poor Todd is just so beaten down by it all. Hopefully this storyline comes to a close too, because it's horrible watching Todd suffer, and also frustrating!

We also have Shona's sister Jodie popping up every 5 minutes, just working in the cafe, and offering her babysitting, and giving long lingering looks to David. And Tyrone who had been hit by a car that Carl was driving seems to be walking all of a sudden after spending the last few months in a wheelchair. Oh, and a baby has been dropped off at Carla and Lisa's home by a woman claiming it's the baby of the prison guard Carla's brother Rob was sleeping with. They just took her and are looking after her now - obviously. 😆

Mucky pervy Megan Trainer has been arrested for having a 'relationship' with one of her pupils, (Will Driscoll,) but Will is denying anything happened, so will they be able to do anything? Toyah, Eva, and Leanne have joined forces to try and bring her down. Especially as she has been blackmailing and bullying young Sam - Nick's son - as he can see her for what she is!

The guy who plays Theo is brilliant. He has really ramped things up now and is so awful, mean and nasty. A proper taunting bullyboy. He has made me hate him so much which just shows what a great job he is doing.

I have not disliked a Corrie 'baddie' so much since Phelan.

Agree that the Theo character is awful and his taunting of poor Summer was horrible
I do hope he dies , his sneering and laughing and the way he impersonated Billy was just nasty.
I was hoping she was going to hit him with a wine bottle , but they have cctv , so she knew she couldn’t hit him.
Plus you wouidnt , he is just too dangerous

Also though, when Theo was being a vile b-stard to Summer, (in the shop) the scene switched to the view the cctv has, and you could hear Theo clearly. I wonder if it picked him up when he was threatening Summer? (Don't let me bury you too.......') 😱

He was speaking quietly though. So it may not have picked him up. I really hope it has so someone can hear him confessing - to killing Billy.

I enjoyed the little scene between Carla and Betsy lamb tonight, where Carla was struggling with her marriage vows.😊

A lip reader may be able to work out what he said - a daft risk to take just to taunt her especially as she had no proof he did it

I know! I remember when he first joined, I thought his acting was pretty ropey. But he has grown into the role and done it proud … if that’s the right word when your character is evil!

Agree with this also. Quite a number of us on here said he (Theo) was a sh1te actor - and berated him, but yes, he has really come on and progressed in the role. He is sooooooooo sinister.

Like Summer. Took a while, but she's really blossoming now in the role. It may have taken a while, because she hasn't been given many good storylines.

Did she record it on her phone?

Whereas Summer did not really carry the soap cliche line of "you do not know what I am capable of"

I do feel sorry for poor Summer.

She cannot even do her shift at Dev's without one of the local bully boys coming in to menace her

I really really don't want Theo to die. It's such a cop out and happens too often on Corrie.

What was the point of Ma Driscoll egging on Eva to confront Megan Trainer but then telling Ben who was bound to go round and stop her?

Yes, I noticed when the view switched to the CCTV and the shot was black and white, the audio changed too very briefly as if to show that the CCTV does pick up audio.

I hope the camera works properly. Dev might have a cheap and nasty one for show.

What I don’t understand is Summer said there is cctv or cameras or something like that. Theo then locked the door. Surely he wouldn’t take the risk of being recorded with what he said. It didn’t make sense to me.

To narrow it down re murder it’s either:
Summer/Sarah/Todd killing Theo
Ma Driscoll killing Megan
Ronnie killing Carl

I think Jodie is in the running. Also, is Mal still around?

I think Debbie could kill Carl given the right circumstances.

It just seemed design to show us Angry Eva. She has been very sensible and calming so far, but now she's angry she's a suspect for killing Megan.

Which would be totally ridiculous, but it's hard to think of much that isn't ridiculous at the moment.

Throwing some wild cards-
Sam could kill Megan.
Leanne could get herself mega angry too.
Abi has reappeared and is crazy mad at Carl, as is Kevin,
Gary is an experienced killer and hates Carl.

There are alsorts of possibilities.
At least it will detract from Carla and Lisa’s wedding! 💤

Maybe Dorrin will escape from the cupboard and kill someone. No idea who or why, but he's so cute that no judge will convict him.

No I'm not being serious. Yes I know he's under the age of criminal responsibility anyway.

Summer should pay Carl to say it was Theo who beat him up.
And re the cameras in Dev's shop, Theo making a point of looking at the camera and smirking makes me think he's nobbled them somehow.

I don't think so, but hopefully, the cctv picked up the audio. Theo did quieten down a bit for it though, (when he was threatening Summer,) so it may not have picked him up.
