Happy Easter (2026) Corrie fans! :) CORONATION STREET THREAD. **No spoilers please.**

Not much has changed since the start of the last thread - only been about 4 weeks since the last one was started.. So...... Following on from the last thread...

Carl hasn't been in it much this past few weeks, but still, no-one seems to be able to take him down. He's done so many bad things!

Mal is still dreadful.... and has just been beaten up by Kit (and tried to blame Dev,) but I think his game is up now Daniel heard him laying into Bernie (who he's been stalking!) Hopefully the stalking story is over, and Mal can leave!

Ma Driscoll was horrendous - but she is less horrendous I think. (Growing on me a bit.) Kit is still fit. Ronnie and Kevin's new double act hasn't advanced much 😆 (I was enjoying their bad cop/bad cop routine too.) Jim McDonald died recently, and it emerges that Ma Driscoll had a bit of a thing with him many years ago, when she had her son Ben! 👀

Debbie is still in prison. Not seeing much of her at the moment. Hopefully we see more of her soon!

Hope is still cheeky as ever.

Big story at the moment is Todd and Theo have just got married. They split up for a few weeks after Todd had just had enough of him, but Theo concocted a plan to make Todd miss a race he had been training for, and got back into Todd's head (and bed!) Then Theo railroaded Todd into a 'surprise' wedding, as he hadn't cancelled the booking at the Registry Office. Theo is really cruel and abusive to Todd, and poor Todd is just so beaten down by it all. Hopefully this storyline comes to a close too, because it's horrible watching Todd suffer, and also frustrating!

We also have Shona's sister Jodie popping up every 5 minutes, just working in the cafe, and offering her babysitting, and giving long lingering looks to David. And Tyrone who had been hit by a car that Carl was driving seems to be walking all of a sudden after spending the last few months in a wheelchair. Oh, and a baby has been dropped off at Carla and Lisa's home by a woman claiming it's the baby of the prison guard Carla's brother Rob was sleeping with. They just took her and are looking after her now - obviously. 😆

Mucky pervy Megan Trainer has been arrested for having a 'relationship' with one of her pupils, (Will Driscoll,) but Will is denying anything happened, so will they be able to do anything? Toyah, Eva, and Leanne have joined forces to try and bring her down. Especially as she has been blackmailing and bullying young Sam - Nick's son - as he can see her for what she is!

Anyway, hasn't Debbie been through enough with a stint in the big house herself? Then her husband goes and gets banged up himself. Both of them serving time for something they didn't do. That would be ridiculous. But then again, this IS Corrie 🤔😂

Do we know that though? I know that’s how it’s been positioned but there was nothing in the flashforward to say it was any of them (I re-watched it at the weekend - all we know for certain is Betsy found a body on her mum’s wedding day, nothing else.)

I don't know what I know anyway. Will we know by Thursday?

The flash forward and all the promos have been focussed on one of The Five being a murder victim. If it isn't one of them, the flash forward was completely pointless. Admittedly a lot of Corrie nowadays is pointless but I doubt they would promo something which doesn't actually happen.

Do we really know that or have we assumed it? (Genuine question as I can’t remember). I remember seeing some of them looking shocked and bloodied in that February episode and they were standing in front of George’s hearse with the ? flowers- but that could just be something and nothing.

In what way did it say that one of them was the murder victim? Or did we just decide it did?? They could have been looking dazed and bloody because they were attacked by someone themselves.

It's up to you how you interpret I suppose.

I interpreted it as one of them was either murdered or a murderer but not 2 of them (if that makes sense -ie if one of them is a murderer then it could be someone not in that group that they killed)

I agree @SabreIsMyFavethat there would be no point in how it’s been done if there wasn’t something significant with one (or more) of them killing / being killed but there was absolutely nothing in the flash forward that confirmed that, so the writers could go anywhere with it if they want to!

The whole Connie granny thing is ridiculous. If my dd got pregnant by a murderer and i had to care for their baby while she went to prison, no way I would leave the baby with the murderer's sister, especially without checking her out first . I would put the baby into care first.

There's definitely a murder ...or at least a body. And George has some business.

Could be quite a wait to find the identity of the victim!
Apparently next week is ' murder week' ...we will see the day of the murder ( 23rd) from the point of the view of the 5 potential victims.
Only after that will the victim be made known and the murder investigation will begin.

My guess is that Carl dies.

He has been on borrowed time on the show for weeks, the others all have stories to run.

Well maybe not Megan Trainer who just shows up in the ginnel occasionally. She seems weirder than ever, does she even like Will?

Does Carla know this Granny?
I did like Jodie’s unhappy face at being laid off! I can’t imagine her as being very motherly at the best of times. Unless she is stealing to win favour.

😭 I don't think I can take any more of this!
It feels like it has been going on for weeks already, the storylines just circle around in a holding pattern with everyone sniping and smacking each other. I've already had enough and no one's dead yet 😆

Theo and Carl are both ramping up the dislike-ability factors, and the list of candidates who would happily kill them (in Theo’s case anyway, he’s vile). Megan and the rest had better up their game in the baddies stakes, and haven’t got long to do so!

I hope Theo dies, he is vile.

Summer’s statement to Theo “you have no idea what I’m capable of” on camera might be a reason for her to be locked up if Theo is our victim.
