Happy Easter (2026) Corrie fans! :) CORONATION STREET THREAD. **No spoilers please.**

Not much has changed since the start of the last thread - only been about 4 weeks since the last one was started.. So...... Following on from the last thread...

Carl hasn't been in it much this past few weeks, but still, no-one seems to be able to take him down. He's done so many bad things!

Mal is still dreadful.... and has just been beaten up by Kit (and tried to blame Dev,) but I think his game is up now Daniel heard him laying into Bernie (who he's been stalking!) Hopefully the stalking story is over, and Mal can leave!

Ma Driscoll was horrendous - but she is less horrendous I think. (Growing on me a bit.) Kit is still fit. Ronnie and Kevin's new double act hasn't advanced much 😆 (I was enjoying their bad cop/bad cop routine too.) Jim McDonald died recently, and it emerges that Ma Driscoll had a bit of a thing with him many years ago, when she had her son Ben! 👀

Debbie is still in prison. Not seeing much of her at the moment. Hopefully we see more of her soon!

Hope is still cheeky as ever.

Big story at the moment is Todd and Theo have just got married. They split up for a few weeks after Todd had just had enough of him, but Theo concocted a plan to make Todd miss a race he had been training for, and got back into Todd's head (and bed!) Then Theo railroaded Todd into a 'surprise' wedding, as he hadn't cancelled the booking at the Registry Office. Theo is really cruel and abusive to Todd, and poor Todd is just so beaten down by it all. Hopefully this storyline comes to a close too, because it's horrible watching Todd suffer, and also frustrating!

We also have Shona's sister Jodie popping up every 5 minutes, just working in the cafe, and offering her babysitting, and giving long lingering looks to David. And Tyrone who had been hit by a car that Carl was driving seems to be walking all of a sudden after spending the last few months in a wheelchair. Oh, and a baby has been dropped off at Carla and Lisa's home by a woman claiming it's the baby of the prison guard Carla's brother Rob was sleeping with. They just took her and are looking after her now - obviously. 😆

Mucky pervy Megan Trainer has been arrested for having a 'relationship' with one of her pupils, (Will Driscoll,) but Will is denying anything happened, so will they be able to do anything? Toyah, Eva, and Leanne have joined forces to try and bring her down. Especially as she has been blackmailing and bullying young Sam - Nick's son - as he can see her for what she is!

After Todd and Theo supposedly left for Belfast, Summer was working in Dev’s shop where Carl made his dirty offer. Don’t you think she’d have heard something from upstairs, or is that the most insulated flat ever?

I kept on thinking that someone might have seen them both loading up the car ( or, indeed, the car still sat wherever they park their cars) and how sneaky they would have to be when they had pretended to already be on the way to the ferry.

DS Swain no closer to cracking the case of her missing police badge

Although she has now decided that she loves Roy despite locking him up for months with no good reason

I didn’t watch it when Lisa locked up Roy , poor bloke.
I’m not sure what Jodie can do with someone else’s police badge , but im sure she’ll do something with it.
Or put it in her trinket box under the settee!

Maybe jodie will mysteriously return it after her takeaway.

Jodie seems to steal things which people value, but are of no value to her, they are just trophies. Brian's book, Lisa's badge, Bernie's photo. I don't know what she gets out of it.

Josie carries on like a serial killer collecting her trophies! She is odd , yet she rescued Roy ( which was good )

How is Summer managing to live on the part time wages she gets from Dev?

I assume Summer has a trust fund from the previous time she was orphaned. When she had a different head.

Life insurance from Billy - which Carl is trying to take a slice of!

He must have knocked Theo out, at the very least, or he’d have chased him or stopped him leaving. He’d have had to get the keys off Theo..

Theo could have legged it after beating Todd up. Earlier though
wasn't he sitting on the other side of the locked bedroom door shouting at Todd for being the violent one so anyone outside or downstairs may have heard (as proof 🙄) so as to shift the blame entirely. Evil shit that he is 😠

And perhaps Paul left her some inheritance too. Also, didn't she have another dad (Drew?) who died too and probably left her something.

Speaking of Summer, where is she living now? Did she move back to the flat above the flower shop?

I was wondering where the chuff yesterday's episode was too! We had footie instead. Nothing against footie but it does piss me right off when they cancel regular programmes for bloody sport! They don't ever cancel sport for anything else!!!

Last night's Corrie was very good. I have already seen tonight's - just watched it on ITVX. Very good episode too. Reduced me to tears. I won't say anything else because 'spoilers,' but it's so good. 😢

I think for what they covered they should’ve had a slightly extended episode. It finished too soon.

I was already filling up at the state of Todd at the end of the last episode, I better stock up on hankies.

It's an excellent episode but should have a trigger warning for DV. No use posting it after the event!
