Not much has changed since the start of the last thread - only been about 4 weeks since the last one was started.. So...... Following on from the last thread...

Carl hasn't been in it much this past few weeks, but still, no-one seems to be able to take him down. He's done so many bad things!

Mal is still dreadful.... and has just been beaten up by Kit (and tried to blame Dev,) but I think his game is up now Daniel heard him laying into Bernie (who he's been stalking!) Hopefully the stalking story is over, and Mal can leave!

Ma Driscoll was horrendous - but she is less horrendous I think. (Growing on me a bit.) Kit is still fit. Ronnie and Kevin's new double act hasn't advanced much 😆 (I was enjoying their bad cop/bad cop routine too.) Jim McDonald died recently, and it emerges that Ma Driscoll had a bit of a thing with him many years ago, when she had her son Ben! 👀

Debbie is still in prison. Not seeing much of her at the moment. Hopefully we see more of her soon!

Hope is still cheeky as ever.

Big story at the moment is Todd and Theo have just got married. They split up for a few weeks after Todd had just had enough of him, but Theo concocted a plan to make Todd miss a race he had been training for, and got back into Todd's head (and bed!) Then Theo railroaded Todd into a 'surprise' wedding, as he hadn't cancelled the booking at the Registry Office. Theo is really cruel and abusive to Todd, and poor Todd is just so beaten down by it all. Hopefully this storyline comes to a close too, because it's horrible watching Todd suffer, and also frustrating!

We also have Shona's sister Jodie popping up every 5 minutes, just working in the cafe, and offering her babysitting, and giving long lingering looks to David. And Tyrone who had been hit by a car that Carl was driving seems to be walking all of a sudden after spending the last few months in a wheelchair. Oh, and a baby has been dropped off at Carla and Lisa's home by a woman claiming it's the baby of the prison guard Carla's brother Rob was sleeping with. They just took her and are looking after her now - obviously. 😆

Mucky pervy Megan Trainer has been arrested for having a 'relationship' with one of her pupils, (Will Driscoll,) but Will is denying anything happened, so will they be able to do anything? Toyah, Eva, and Leanne have joined forces to try and bring her down. Especially as she has been blackmailing and bullying young Sam - Nick's son - as he can see her for what she is!

Why was Danielle so angry at being asked if TCTheo had been violent towards her?

I can't cope with the schedule changes at such a critical point.
Maybe Danielle was abusive to Theo and he thinks that's part of a relationship?
Maybe Sam can be sent to a specialist chess school never to be seen again.
Who mentioned the woody and made it appear?

Theo is probably only abusive in his male relationships - because he hates himself for being gay . They need to find that other bloke that he saw down canal street who can verify his past behaviour.

I watched the last two episodes this morning. Debbie with her bandage mitts with thumb sticking out, does she not use her thumb when holding hot plates😆
Why is everyone so dumbfounded by Debbie’s dementia progressing.

If she’s had lip fillers it was a while ago as she looks the same as usual to me.

Theo’s got Corrie’s first Ring doorbell (of course).

My current thinking is Carl kills Theo (or the other way round). Theo’s storyline is clearly ending, I thought Carl would be round for more of the Debbie storyline but he seems to have ground to a halt.

Whoever dies I think both of them will go in the next few weeks. They seem very keen on bringing in villains on a one year contract and it’d be about a year now for both of them I think. I suppose it’s a quick cheap way of providing drama, they never build up the villainy over years now like Charlie Stubbs or Hillman.

Jodie still has a long way to go with her evil deeds so she won’t die. Megan is a possibility as she hasn’t really got anywhere much left to go. I can’t see any point in killing off Ma Driscoll.

I thought perhaps Theo only abused male partners as he struggled with being gay. He had conversion therapy didn’t he so hated himself for being gay at one time.

It would explain why Danielle was not abused. If she was abused are some victims embarrassed about the abuse and react how she did? I really don’t know but it’s quite possible as wouldn’t researchers check these things out?

Jodie is interesting...what is that all about? Mrs Driscoll needs to stay and feud with Maureen Lipman.
Megan could go and work in chess school and torment Sam off screen.
Theo...Carl could kill him and go to prison. Debbie can visit him off screen.
Mal can electrocute himself in Gary's yard.

I would like Mal's wife, Alice, to turn up, tell him he's 'a very naughty boy' in a Monty Python voice, and march him back to where ever he came from.

I think Mal has an alter ego called Alice. Goodness life is complicated enough without 7.30 on a Sunday being a thing.

I wonder if Sam will kill Megan. It’s been a while since anyone was sent to the STC, and you can’t reach the age of majority on the street without at least one conviction under your belt.

That's exactly it. We've talked about it a few times over the past six months, Theo hates himself for being gay, so he takes it out on his male partners. No way did he abuse Danielle.

There are probably other male partners out there he also abused although I think Todd is his first actual relationship, the others were just hook ups.

I honestly don’t want them to kill Theo. Given this storyline, I genuinely think it needs to conclude with court and prison. They need to show the audience a proper conclusion.

From the flash forward we know Betsy was being interviewed by police so maybe either witnessed the murder or found the murder victim. She did say in interview that whatever they did they didn’t deserve that so I think now it could be Megan. Someone who’s done something bad but doesn’t deserve to be killed? If it’s Megan then surely Sam is involved.

I thought he did abuse Danielle. Otherwise why would she be so defensive? She would just say no.

The only abuser I can think of who went to jail was Kirsty, she confessed. Charlie, Geoff, Alan Bradley died. There may be others I've forgotten.

Kirsty died in prison didn't she? I think the best death was the one in the Freshco freezer.

How annoying that Danielle didn't have any stories of Theo being abusive.

I agree with PPs that Theo abuses Todd because he hates that he's gay deep down. Its annoying though.

But, when my ex was first with his now wife I received a message from some of her friends asking if he was ever violent towards me, as he apparently was towards her. I can hand on heart say no. Never. Don't get me wrong, he was an arsenal at times. But he was never ever violent, and I never felt he would be.

I dont think its surprising that Danielle was angry, I think i would be pissed off if a virtual stranger was quizzing me about my ex husband.
