I watched the After Dinner show too. Didn't really like it very much. Felt abrupt and jarring.

Not sure what I thought about Geezer. It seemed over the top to be saying bring in a lie detector and I'll give a charity £100k if I'm proven a liar. Do people who tell the truth really need to try that hard to prove their innocence? I want to give him the benefit of the doubt because I dislike Pastatits and the Ice Model so much, but I'm not entirely sure I completely buy it.

I find Kneel Before Me's voice so grating that I'm completely distracted from the content of her words!!!!! I realise that is a me problem, but I'm not sure I could spend much time listening to her IRL.

I dont think the guy can win. He didnt go OTT at the dinner party and outright deny it by getting angry, and now he is a bit OTT with the £100k, people are still questioning him! How can you disprove a lie?

Even if Danny did say it, so what? It’s not like he said Bec makes him physically sick or something. They need to shut up about it now. The way he got spoken to on the after show was bullying too.

Danny could have quashed things straight away in front of everyone and came out on top.

When Brook and Gia ‘outed ‘ him for allegedly saying Gia is his normal type, he could have simply said something like this “ Yeah, physically Gia is my usual type and someone I’d normally go for outside the experiment. However, I’ve since learned how vile and toxic Gia is , which makes her very ugly to me.”

If Danny had said that at the dinner table , it would have stopped Gia having something over him and would have humiliated her whilst confirming what he meant.

I wonder if Gias employers have seen how she bagged and if they still employ her.

I work in the civil service. It’s made very clear to us that inappropriate behaviour would lead to dismissal, including behaviour or comments on social media or if we went on television.

Id be amazed if Gia is still allowed to work with vulnerable people after what we’ve seen so far. Can we complain to her employer?

Her family said she didn’t work at the wedding. But the show have her down as having a job.

We're getting a couple of new couples next week and for once, I'm not disappointed. I feel like there's something missing in this series, despite the extreme drama. We need a Jamie or a Lauren Dunn. Or an eccentric that's more interesting than someone who uses bisexuality as their USP.

But the point is that she ISN'T his type at all!

I think Danny whilst physically unattractive despite all his tweeks that appeal to shallow women (see also Gia - hot by numbers), and a bit of a dumb dumb is actually quite nice and genuine.

So he either is :

1. Actually nice
2. Very good at playing the MAFS game of appearing nice.

And neither of those options mean he would with zero context roll up to cocknballz and say she was his type.

ps. Does nobody on here use Channel 4 streaming to watch , we pay about £4 for no adverts so if you don’t mind watching after it’s shown live it’s way worth it.
(Side note it also freaks me out that hardly anyone seems to use the Mumsnet app- does everyone use a laptop or just log in via search engine on phones , the format seems so clunky that way).

It annoyed me that they they gave out to Danny for being annoyed that Bec didn’t believe him. I’d be annoyed too in his shoes. Dyahknowwotimean.

I used to use the app @Victoriawould24 but then MN put that flashing phone ad so now I can’t use it any more.

I have always used either my laptop or my phone's Internet browser for Mumsnet. The app is always made out really rubbish and clunky so have never felt the need to try.
