I saw her yesterday when I was watching This Life on iPlayer from 1996!!

The one who played Nish turned up in ‘ trying ‘ the other week ( bbc one Monday nights and the previous ones are on I player )

I love the Nish actor when he was in Teachers (a very long time ago!)

Teachers was on the 00s I think ? It is incredible how time flies isn’t it.
He ( Nish actor ) was only in two episodes of Trying , but he looked cool.

Which one of you lot said it was brave using Scott mills on the radio in the flash forward episode? Looks like that’s gonna need a good old continuity cover up 😮

Oh yes! They will have to get Scott Mill’s replacement to do the shout out for Max’s wedding now. They will probably have to film it again anyway. Plus it was wrong having him on at 11.12 as the morning show has finished long before then and it’s Vernon Kay ( atm)

The way it’s going with bbc male presenters , it’s probably better to just have a random person nobody knows doing that part , or just cut it out completely! Or a bbc woman , they don’t seem to end up in trouble !

I'm sure Vernon will be happy to step in, he is never off the TV and radio at the moment. But as you say, the way it's going at the moment they may be better off just deleting that section 😆

Today’s one wasn’t too bad, but it’s now clear that Bea is trying to split up Billy and Honey. Sad really as they have had their ups and downs and splits before, but they are pretty solid at the moment. Her hair didn’t look much different after her trip to the salon, maybe a bit of a wave there !!
I wonder if Penny will tell Vinny he isn’t the dad soon? He’d make a good dad and he’ll be upset , but not as bad as Suki will be once she finds out!! It was well done with him not being in the room when she found out she was further forwards though. Feel for Gina too, she really likes Harry.

Thoroughly enjoyed today’s episode apart from weird Bea, I can’t quite work out what her character is supposed to be, she’s like 4 people in one body, even her facial expressions is like several different characters trying to fight their way out, very sci-fi.
i love the jasmines brother actor, so much better at acting then his sister, a shame for her that he blows her out of the water, they could have been a great sibling act if she weren’t so amateurish, they are both beautiful.
i cried a little bit with patrick’s reaction to the gay news, he is so lovely, he reminds me of a family member , so nice to see him chuckling again , hope soon the Anthony Jasmine Zoe story is put to bed for good .

It was weird how Josh went to see Patrick and Yolande and then next minute he was in the salon! I called it that Dee will offer him a job as a trainee!! He’ll be good , they may even get some clients now ( Oscar ? ) .

Love the relationship between Patrick and Josh

Partick is lovely. I’m glad his accepted Josh.
He is one of the better characters in it , but then I like the Foxes and the Truman’s.

I agree that Bea is such a strange character. Have the writers forgot about the time where she hired randoms to smash up the shop? She seemed all menacing then and it’s the only time that I thought she could be an interesting character

Now it’s went all Single White Female it’s just boring

Why did Kim gossip about Billy and Tina’s one night stand years ago, rather than the more recent and relevant Honey and Jay relationship? Oh I know - plot reasons.

I hadn’t thought about it before, but it’s all slightly weird - Nic and George being together, and then Harry and Gina.

As if Patrick wouldn’t realise Josh is gay! But I loved their chat together. Josh will be a natural in the salon.

I’m just thinking about the thing with Harry and penny.

so they slept together not long after he escaped after injecting crack… would penny honestly risk unprotected sex ?

She apparently risked unprotected sex with both of them. She seems very careless!

You’d think that Penny would be far more savvy , but apparently not. They could all do with a lesson in contraception, but then the writers would have to find other storylines to write about. The baby daddy one is used at least once a year ( or feels like it anyway )

She’s a wild one, don’t forget she was a French lady gangster before returning to the square.

is harry meant to be attractive ? I find him quite hot 🔥
