I’m also interested in how the fraud story plays out and feel Emma Barton (Honey) is often underused but when given the chance she can do the dramatic stuff just as well as the comedic scenes. Also, identity fraud is increasing so it’s a timely story. My card details have been stolen a couple of times and my bank refunded me but they could see the transactions were unusual (done in a different city far away and at places I’d never used my card at before). I also reported early. All very stressful!

It is stressful isn’t it south :( Im glad that the bank flagged it up, but any kind of fraud is just horrible and we have to be careful. Especially as things can be bought on line with just those three numbers on the back of the card as some kind of security, when clearly it can be done so easily if you know how. So many scummy people around
I paused the credit card bill, she paid 450 for the ‘Ivyday clinic ‘ for Honey and 449 for the bed.
meal was 167.8 and dress was 24.99.
It is very up to date and the prices are realistic ( apart from the Harley street one , but it was only a consultation?, seems cheap though )

My debit card has been cloned, the bank picked it up before I did on both occasions. All funds were refunded, and it was shut down rather quickly, it was an inconvenience waiting for the new card, and changing direct debits etc.
This is different though, Bea has applied and been accepted for a credit card, she is living at the address and she has spent a majority of the funds on Honey, which Honey has accepted. It is fraud, however it could come down to Bea's word against Honey's. Even Penny wouldn't be a reliable witness, Bea said she was using Honey's card and Penny believed her, she mentioned it to Honey, and Honey didn't disagree

It’s all very murky isn’t it. I was impressed that the credit card statement looked realistic and the prices were up to date. Apart from a question mark over the clinic price, the rest looked right for what she has been spending on. There wasn’t any other transactions for the clinic for meds , but again that’s been forgotten about lately. Although I’m sure that she’ll feel a lot worse once she finds out she was defrauded for so much money by the awful Bea.

It could be Mark as the blackmailer , he mentioned that they didn’t put the location or amount down and then there it was. Unless Cindy overheard them in the cafe and realized her mistake.

I know it's EE but in reality, would Honey even get a credit card, let alone one with a big limit? The household income must be low.

The bill at George's restaurant was £160 for 4 with alcohol! £450 for the private menopause clinic! Hilarious 😂

The meal ( which was wrong ) plus the tip was much more realistic than the clinic costs they had on the statement. I can only think that maybe Honey went back and paid the rest of it , but don’t know.

£450 sounds fine for the consultation. I've just looked at fees at a Harley Street menopause clinic and it's £295 for initial consult. Then presumably more for any meds she was given.

Poor Honey though.
Whoever typed out that statement made it look realistic and remembered all her treats and things as well! Made a change. She should try and pay the minimum first at least , keep the bank at bay , but she probably won’t or can’t.

Maybe. Depends on her background. Doesn’t seem to have savings though and she’s an ex model.

Mark is a good call, maybe he doesn’t want Vicki to marry Dross ? However, it also feels low. Unless he needs money for the gangsters.

Mark was the first person I thought of, but he owes £10k and has only raised a very small slice of that. He knows Zack is broke and Vicki works in a cafe so anything they pay him will be about 1% of what he owes!

Grant is back next week for the end of the Nigel storyline.

Billy can access Phil’s magic safe to get the money for the credit card when the shit hits the fan and Bea’s fraud comes to light.

Is it really £100k? And he thinks he can get that selling knock off cars for £5k a go😂He might as well dig his own grave and lie down in it.

I thought that Zoe was good today. It’s not often I rate her, but she really doesn’t like Vicki and it was done well.
I did wonder if Bea might try Phil’s safe , but he would get his baseball bat out. She can’t ask Beale , he wouldn’t help her out at all ! Lol

The quiz with Oscar was funny. He seems to come alive around Max and Lauren. It was nice to see him minus the twins. He really is so watchable.

Yeah, when Phil spoke to the drug lords to get Mark out of the gang I remember him then telling Mark he would have to raise £100k to pay them off. If it was only £10k I don’t think he would have been so desperate to set up the car ring with Lauren, he could have raised that (relatively) small amount just selling one dodgy car. Plus £10k is like petty cash to Phil so Mark could probably have found it down the back of his sofa!

Mark doesn’t seem too bothered by his debt to the gangsters does he. He hasn’t had a job since he was spying on Ravi. Not sure how he survives.

For those who said about Ravi looking down (was a bit boring). Who wants to guess with me that when he finds Nugget’s bully he will go absolutely apeshit and beat them up?

Oh it was Will. Can’t see him surviving Ravi. Mark is more interested in Zicky than his own affairs.

Avani said it was online , so I am assuming it was Will, unless he passed it around ? I do feel for Ravi, but I read that Priya gets him some help soon. He certainly needs it.

I think Mark works in/runs the Boxing den? There was a scene with Phil telling him he’d have to get stuck in and work there to pay the debt. But I’ve only seen him there once with his laptop out. The rest of the time he is following Vicki around the square🤷🏽‍♀️

Oh so they’ve remembered Will took that video of Nugget (but not explained why he wasn’t with his family on holiday in Cornwall at the time loll)
