I hope Sam stays on too! I do like her.

They need regular characters like Auntie Pauline. Who stay and still have drama. Not that Sam’s anything like Pauline!

No! 🤣

I hope you were both quiet in that library...

Alice Haig was on the One Show today and I feel bad slagging off Vicki because she was lovely! She is very animated, attractive and smiley and nothing like dreary Vicki.

I do like Sam and Zack together. But I have a horrible fear that it is Sam who filmed and is blackmailing Vicki. I know we are meant to think it's Bea and I hope it is. But chucking that type of thing at Sam is just what the writers like to do. Her motivation? to humiliate Vicki who has treated Zack badly. Anyway I really hope not.

Why on earth is anyone entertaining weird Bea. She constantly oversteps and nobody ever says no, f* off.

Yes I think Alice is very attractive. Nice eyes and hair!
Just short really.. and bad clothes on eastenders. But better than Zoes wardrobe!

Also I have just looked at Zaks real life wife earlier. Easy to find via his instagram.
Shes taller brunette. Very pretty. But not crazy stunning. And he may be gym obsessed and lean and tanned. But hes not like the most stunning guy ever...

Also Sam is too old I think for him and Lauren/ Whitney bit young/ immature.

the80sweregreat · 15/04/2026 05:29

If Dross throws out Zac , he’ll have nowhere to live ! Maybe he’ll be the one to leave.
What a tangled web.
I Hope Bea has to pay that money back once she is found out. It must be in the thousands now after Harley street and the other bits.

I wasn’t in a library.

Edited

Zack’s from a place not far from where I live. Greenwich. Sadly not all the local men look like him!

Zippidydoodah · 15/04/2026 07:51

I laughed when Penny tried to stop Bea buying the same dress as Honey.

”you’ll look like Billy’s backing singers!”

🤣

Southeastdweller · 15/04/2026 07:54

The credit card statement arrived today and I think the balance was only £1.3K. Aren’t these consultations in Harley street supposed to cost at least a grand each?

OP posts:
the80sweregreat · 15/04/2026 08:50

Honey went once and yes it must be about a grand for a consultation there I would have thought. The meal last night probably isn’t on there yet and she bought food for Will and Janet that time and put towards his school trip ( I think ) and the dress can’t be too much ( and again maybe not on that bill yet ) but she did also buy a new bed and that’s a lot these days so 1.3 sounds a bit under unless Harley street had a deal on ( unlikely!) Did Honey say she had to go back for tablets as well ? Although it wasn’t really followed through was it. The backing singers comment made me laugh , they did a bit sitting together yesterday.

Anyonecanfallinlove · 15/04/2026 08:57

I wonder if Honey will be liable for the payments, as she did attend Harley street, and the bed was delivered to her address. I know she was unaware of the credit card but I'm not sure how that would be judged

the80sweregreat · 15/04/2026 09:10

Yes, how would the bank approach these types of fraud cases I’m not sure. The bed was delivered to their address and I suppose Bea paid for the consultation online under Susan’s name , so they may assume she’s part of the fraud. I suppose it’s up to Honey to prove that it wasn’t anything to do with her and she didn’t apply for the card. How would you prove it ?

the80sweregreat · 15/04/2026 09:21

I suppose that the bank will chase the name on the card ( Susan) and her and Billy will be bankrupt unless Bea is able to pay , but she’s only done a few shifts at work and must have earned next to nothing , certainly not enough to pay that back and possibly more after that meal plus a 20 percent tip for Denzil!
I feel sorry for Honey , as the bank will take a dim
view of ‘ it wasn’t me ‘ and you can buy so much online now , so you can’t even prove anything that way.
What a nightmare.

lazymum99 · 15/04/2026 09:33

Im really liking what they have done with Ian’s character currently. He has a really good quite dry sense of humour. When he let Bea pay the bill and said his feminist side tells him it’s the right thing to do!
They looked completely ridiculous in the restaurant side by side in the same dress. And why no one ever says no to Bea I can’t fathom.

Shellingbynight · 15/04/2026 09:44

I don't think Honey would have to pay (in the real world anyway) as long as she reports it as soon as she finds out. It's fraud, she is not responsible for it.

the80sweregreat · 15/04/2026 09:50

How do you prove it is fraud if things are being delivered to your home address though ? Bea even applied for the card on their PC and used her passport. Surely the bank would want more evidence than ‘ it wasn’t me’ surely ? If they had cctv on the square .. or some footage of Bea using it , maybe Penny could be a witness for Honey ? I’m not sure how you would report it , unless she has previous for this and well known to the bank or something like that.

the80sweregreat · 15/04/2026 09:51

What I mean is, Honey could and should report it, but it’s the evidence she also needs ( in this case ) but not sure really.

the80sweregreat · 15/04/2026 09:52

Bea has a way of making people feel guilty if they say no to her. It’s very manipulative, but she gets away with it. Clever , until she’s found out of course !

the80sweregreat · 15/04/2026 09:59

I didn’t ever think that Ian would return to be honest ( he left for ages once and was doing theatre shows and living in a caravan in real life) but the lure of having Cindy back too must have won the day for him and it is regular work.
He is busy trying to be elected next week and E’laine is out of her depth with the canvessing.

Shellingbynight · 15/04/2026 10:00

80s but that is the same for anyone who has a credit card taken out fraudulently. Honey already knows (from Penny) that Bea as using a card in her name so it should be case closed, but ... well this is EastEnders!

Southeastdweller · 15/04/2026 10:02

Honey wouldn’t have any proof and went to the appointment, bed went to her address, she went for the meal, so I agree with you 80s that her and Billy are heading for financial disaster. Ronni Ancona is only doing a short stint in EE so Bea will probably leave them high and dry, maybe next month.

OP posts:
Anyonecanfallinlove · 15/04/2026 10:06

Honey doesn't know that Bea is using a card with her name. Penny only said that Honey brought Bea a dress, she didn't mention the card. Honey then assumed that Penny was referring to them having the same dress

the80sweregreat · 15/04/2026 10:12

Maybe Honey will have to speak to Penny again and she’ll confirm that she saw Susan Mitchell on the card ( the camera did linger on it ) and maybe some other cameras or something for things we don’t know about.
I was surprised she didn’t have to put the card in the machine for that meal as they said it was pricy and wrong ( which nobody asked about ) and she added the tip on as well and already spent that day for the new dress. Hey ho, I’m sure it’ll come out in the wash , maybe Bea will end up in prison , there is a space now Jasmine is out.

thisoldcity · 15/04/2026 10:28

I must admit to actually being quite interested at the moment in Honey finding out about Bea's fraud - I feel Honey needs to find some anger for a change and I think she will in this case as she's been so kind to Bea up to this point (for no particular reason that I can see).

Gonnagetgoingreturnsagain · 15/04/2026 10:30

Did anyone find the Zicki and mark detective storyline a bit hard to believe? Or just me!

the80sweregreat · 15/04/2026 10:34

Honey was kind as she saw Bea as a victim and soon she will discover she is the victim of a fraudster herself. Maybe that’s why Bea’s old landlord threw her out.
I hope Honey gets angry, but also she can also prove that it’s not her debt and the bank agree as well, which may be harder to do :(
