Anyone watching this? Really enjoyed the first series so looking forward to it!

The food thing was very funny. They are both so dead pan.

Sam, whilst unbreakable, just wasn’t that funny I thought.

David, I do like him, he’s really witty but didn’t give me belly laughs like Bob, Romesh, Diane. Loved Alan. And the intimacy coordinators! Mel very unfunny.

Bring on S3!

I think overall the first one was probably better but I loved Romesh and Diane and Bob.
nothing, surely, ever equal bob’s and Joe’s jokers on series 1?

Mel is not my cup of tea. Sam was a great threat to the group as he was unnervingly different to them so in that respect quite good casting.
I loved Bob going on a Chadwick.
I hated David Mitchell’s first joker. Not funny!

Also they could just end it on a stare out, no looking away. That would always produce a winner wouldn’t it?

Really enjoyed this series. Lovely stuff.

Diane was my favourite. I’ve rewatched her joker from ep2 so many times.

I’d seen Sam on Taskmaster so knew what to expect, but I can see how many viewers would be a bit “WTF?” about him.

Bob, David, Alan, Romesh & Maisie didn’t disappoint! Gbemi’s first laugh was fantastic. Mel was way out of her depth I thought, although redeemed herself a bit with the mafia goat.

And as much as I think Roisin seems like a lovely person, she’s pretty bloody awful at scripted stuff, and completely pointless in this. I liked her in Man Down, but that was deliberately GCSE drama. Absolutely cringeworthy in this. I’m sure the producers read this thread (😬), so a plea, please - if you retain Roisin next series just make it real, spontaneous reactions.

It was funny because it was so not his style and quite unexpected.

Loved the final - I was 🤣

I rewatched the first series and that head to head with Richard and Bob still made me laugh out loud.

There has been some brilliant moments, and a very worthy winner. I agree though, that S1 was better. Mel should have been gone in the first episode for gurning and running off and I found Sam irritating and unfunny.

The problem with the format is what constitutes a smile. Mel was smiling loads in a gurning way. They should be really clear about that.

I agree but in fairness to her, Bob's advice to them all was to find a "safety face". He had one too. Both annoyed me as I think it is cheating to have a rictus grin/teeth showing. Or drinking/eating. Do not remember Bob using that face in series one but I might have forgotten.
Hate them walking off too. Thought Bob and David got cut some slack in first few episodes. Agree about Mel gurning a lot. I did appreciate she went on the attack a few times though. The ones that don't, just sit there or avoid interaction I always think What is the point of you? The only one with a complete poker face/no reaction I could gauge was Sam. I still don't feel Romesh was picked off, it was no worse than Alison appearing in the fridge in series one. I just wish it had been Rob Beckett not Jimmy doing it.

Daisy-May Cooper had a cracking “safety face” in S1. Bob’s reminded me of his impressions of Ted from Gone Fishing!

The best thing is Bob’s avoidance of laughter thing when he opens his mouth really widely and rolls his head around. Hilarious.

My favourite two moments were Alan Carr reading his card about the tumble dryer and realising he’d struggle to read it out loud and Sam jumping when Bemi made the weird squawking noise trying not to laugh.

Way too many poo and penis jokes. And David Mitchell laughed when eating the éclair.

I didn't find Diane's joker funny at all!! I lol'd at David's though. It's interesting how we all find different things hilarious. I didn't get Bob's joker and I adore Bob! His songs are hilarious.
