There's preamble hosted by Jonathan Ross, from 10.15PM, who I quite like. Not sure who else will be doing that along with him.

Anyone watching?

I posted it on Telly Addicts, since its on TV, but will stick a link in film as well

Oscars Red Carpet is on now on YouTube - The Associated Press are covering it

Happy Oscars Night 🏆

I thought he was okay until the icky grifting kicked in. He was so desperate to win that he went overboard on the promo and a lot of it, like releasing the sports jackets, definitely smacked of momager Kris Jenner's input. He just came across as arrogant and unlikeable all the time.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if he dumps Kylie now so people will take him seriously again.

He is really ferret faced, really weird shape face/head.

I’ll admit I haven’t seen Marty Supreme, but everything I have seen him in it’s been meh.

@EasternStandard
I swear, such a brilliant film, but too late to be a contender for this year.

Thanks @MrsLargeEmbodiedit’s one film I’d love to see get a sweep of the major awards, actor, supporting, director, screenplay etc I was blown away by it. So good.

😄 I like Timothee

His skit with pete Davidson - 'you never loved me mom' is the funniest thing

Main thing I’m hoping now is that Kpop Demon Hunters will stop being mentioned everywhere 🤣 I swear I hear that Golden song in my sleep. Def don’t think it deserved to win Best Original Song though.

Really, I just don't see it as he looks about 12 but I will watch the skit you mentioned.

I agree with everyone about I Swear. It was absolutely brilliant and I was choking back sobs in the cinema watching it. Was so happy for Robert Aramayo winning the bafta because he was amazing. And so sad for John Davidson wh9 would have been mortified at what happened on probably one of the proudest nights of his life.

Oh and the beginning of the Oscars with Conan in the bizarre get up being chased by the kids was an homage to Amy Madigan and her film ‘Weapons’.

edited to say I loved that. Best bit of his presenting. And Weapons is worth a look.

I was a mess by the end, especially by the time the real clips of John were shown. Luckily I was home.

I missed the BAFTA threads as I hadn’t watched either but I agree how difficult for him.
