Cooking doesn’t get any tougher….. me on a plate…..you all get the idea!

Only my maternal GM was still alive when I was born and she lived with my aunt and uncle. Did no cooking but would interrupt her chain smoking to eat meals off a tray provided by her DiL.
Not sure what I could parley that into...

I am planning on making one but it is going to involve a lot of cheating and shortcuts.

i lost my grandfather’s early but I had one grandma in my life until my 30s and the other until my 50s. Very lucky.

I like trifle but that trifle does not do it for me

I don’t really mind the jelly, fruit or sponge, so I swap my custard for mum’s sponge.
I’d quite happily just do without the trifle altogether though!

Its famous in my family that mum made a trifle to take to a party. But dad snuck more sherry in so it slowed about and hardly det. They just bunged thebwhipped cream on.
