Grin

I went off Neal slightly by the way he acted at the tour finals- I did think not thanking Joe was a bit off, disappointed or not. But I would liketo see them playing together - to prove they can win .

kazzaD66 · 05/04/2026 20:37

Yes, I get what you say about Neal but they have had some good interactions on SM since then, so I'm willing to overlook it Grin

Raahh · 05/04/2026 20:51

True.Grin- I think it was a very emotional moment for him (epsecially given how much Joe had won with Rajeev, maybe).
I'll let him off... for now.

Some good matches tomorrow in MC- but the standout has to be Stef against Francisco Cerundolo (his brother is also in action).

Stef could be in trouble. Again.

JaneJeffer · 05/04/2026 23:44

Stef could be in trouble. Again.

  • *Grin did everyone see him saying he’d rather not go out with a tennis player because there’s too much competitiveness and Paula’s laughing emojis under the post. Yikes Grin

Seems Taylor and Morgan have parted company now too Shock

Fizzywinegum · 06/04/2026 09:09

I’ve just seen something about the Stef post Jane - the fact that Stef’s Mum had quite a lot to say about their relationship is quite telling (although it was in the Daily Fail!)

Maybe Morgan got fed up of pretending that she liked (or understood) tennis

Can’t believe that it’s time for the clay court season already - my favourite tennis season (still miss Rafa though Sad) - it’s also DH’s least favourite as tennis just seems to be on all the time - yay!

Raahh · 06/04/2026 09:57

I love the clay season too, Fizzy- it's constant tournaments at a decent time from now until July (including the grass season). Grin.

Not that I can't usually find something somewhere at other times Grin

Jane Stef and relationships fullstop seem like fard work, with girlfriends, parents, coaches. He's just a very intense young man Grin. (Which in my head was said with Harry Enfield's voice).

What a shame Taylor and Morgan have split <insert sincere emoji>.
Maybe Morgan's 'Make Tennis Cool Again' website bombed(what made her think it wasn't , anyway? ) .

Raahh · 06/04/2026 11:39

Good start for Arthur Rinderknech against Karen. He is wearing a top that blends in with the clay though, from a distance.
Looks like he might win this match.

Andrey Rublev- who has not had a great year so far -is involved in a tospsy turvy match against Borges. But he has the break in the 3rd.

Raahh · 06/04/2026 11:46

Well done Arthur.

Raahh · 06/04/2026 11:48

And after an up and down match, Andrey has won his first match since Dubai.

kazzaD66 · 06/04/2026 12:12

What a shame about Taylor and Morgan. Does that mean we won't benefit from her pearls of wisdom in her Wimbledon VTs again? Bereft Grin

Raahh · 06/04/2026 12:20

I'm gutted kazza. Gutted.

Grin

Meanwhile, StanBear is continuing his farewell tour, playing Seb Baez.

Raahh · 06/04/2026 12:22

I do love the little checked bit on Stan's shirt. Those shorts will never be forgotten. Grin

JaneJeffer · 06/04/2026 12:27

We had it so good

Sad Feels like yesterday- was always such a shock when he lost on clay (and it was a very rare thing really, until near the end).

It doesn't matter how many slams Djok wins, Rafa's clay records will always stand head and shoulders above anything else (in my opinion Grin).

Raahh · 06/04/2026 13:41

Stan staging a bit of a comeback in this second set.

As are Joe and Francisco in the doubles.

JaneJeffer · 06/04/2026 13:48

He’s got the crowd on his side

OP posts:
Raahh · 06/04/2026 13:48

Stan has levelled the set- sadly Joe and Fran have lost the break.

ChessieFL · 06/04/2026 13:50

I was just telling DH about Stan’s comeback in this set and he said ‘He’s the one who’s famous for wearing those checked shorts, isn’t he?’!!

JaneJeffer · 06/04/2026 13:55

Grin @ChessieFL

Well done to Seb- Stan put up a fight.

I think he might get a bit of a send off

JaneJeffer · 06/04/2026 13:57

Aww. Well done Seb

OP posts:
Raahh · 06/04/2026 13:59

Of course, we aren't getting to see anything- thanks Sky Hmm.

I don't want to listen to Jamie's opinion of how Stan played.
