I don’t understand why the soaps keep doing all these depressing stories. Corrie has two abuse stories at the moment.

We need something to cheer us up in the soaps. They’re so bloody depressing lately. The only soap related laugh available is coming on this thread for a chat 😄

Corrie currently has 2 women from the street in the same prison wing. At least they’ve not been forgotten about, not yet anyway. Max from Corrie and Samson from Emmerdale were sent to prison and never given a second thought by their families. I wonder if they’re together in a Corriedale prison wing.

I can't remember the last time we had anything remotely enjoyable in Emmerdale.

When they try it's usually some zombie battle bromance nonsense between those two old hasbeens Paddy and Marlon or a driving competition to win drippy Sarah.

Why is the counsellor asking Bear about drugs and prostitution? It's meant to be Bear offloading his feelings to help him recover. Not being quizzed about Dylan and April and the other slaves.

I was just thinking the same. She’s doing more questioning than the female cop. She told Bear whatever he says will be in confidence. Surely that won’t still apply if Bear breaks and tells her he killed Ray?

I really liked tonight's episode. Tense and emotional. Then Bear confessing! Bloody hell!

Unfortunately Paddy and Dylan will now be in trouble. Paddy could lose his vets licence if convicted of a crime. Bear definitely has mitigating circumstances but I don't think it will save him from prison time ☹️

My word. Everyone arriving at the same time to see Bear. And apparently Bear called the police himself. The inept counsellor would have contacted his NOK and the person that had set up the session. But nope. Bear called the police, she sits and waits for the police to turn up (always V quickly) without a thought to contacting anyone for a vulnerable man.
