Just read Time To Shine. Rachel has a great way to write characters who you just become really attached to.

I just reread The Shots you take. On rereading I thought how much it feels like a sliding doors/alternative story for Scott Hunter. But I may have just felt that because I'm embarrassingly obsessed with Francois Arnaud.

Was very happy to see HR sweep the board at the Canadian Screen Awards last night. 13 nominations and 13 wins. They’re up for three more tonight!

I am pleased to see they won again. Lovely to see Hudson and his family there. He made a great speech. Just gorgeous.

I snorted my drink at this.

During a recent reheat…a couple of scenes really pulled at my heart strings. Post tuna meltdown during a hockey game, when Ilya is pointedly ignoring Shane while sitting on the bench and then when he body slams Shane. This time, no cheeky smile and cut to a sex scene, just Ilya painfully expressing his anger and hurt. 😭

I love episode 4. I find it emotionally destroying but it’s soooooo good.

I have finished all of Rachel’s books now. So started a new hockey romance. Him by Sabrina Bowen and Elle Kennedy. It’s ok. Not quite hitting like Rachel’s books. Her characterisation is just so good.

I read Him, after a lot of people had recommended it, and didn't enjoy it much tbh

I can’t believe that this week is 5 months since I watched HR on Sky and since then I have mainly read MM Romance and AO3. Yes the quality really varies and there is quite a lot I have started and not finished.
I get recommendations from Threads and TikTok .
I hope Connor finishes filming in Atlanta this coming week and we get a bit of content before he moves to UK/Germany to film Please in July. I really miss him!

I'm in the same boat - truly can't believe it. I've read 27 books since I started reading again in April and I can't get enough of anything MM - having never read them before!
I really thought my obsession would die down, but apparently not.. and I'm excited that they'll be back filming HR very soon!

Just to add that I have Kindle unlimited so don’t buy many books which makes it easier to bin them if they don’t capture my attention. Also my family think I have been reading the same book for the last 5 months on my kindle!

I've been signed up to KU too. It's absolutely brilliant! I treated myself to a new Kindle so got a trial, I'll definitely be keeping up with it. Worth every penny!

Im going to watch Criminal Minds this week on Disney +, it’s funny to think it will be almost the 2nd show I have seen Connor in yet I feel I know him. (I half watched Riley).

I’m reading a fun one where Ilya and Shane are living a second life after both dying and waking up as 17 year olds. Loving a03 for the sheer number of books. Some are a bit rubbish but the majority I’ve read are also recommended from TikTok and that has helped curate it a bit.

Can I also just say that I love how 6 months down the line this thread is even still going strong.
What has HR done to hs all?

There’s has been some nasty stuff going on in fandom world this week. I hope the actors are ok. Price of game etc. We won’t ever get the prominent level of fan engagement we got for Series 1 sadly. We will get more strictly curated promo I expect.

I too am looking forward to S2 starting. We might get some casting announcements soon!

Still heavily invested in the series and the actors!
