i read a great discussion on Instagram about how HR has changed people’s lives. Encouraging to exercise more, seek more from relationships etc. After my 950th rewatch I really thought a lot about Shane coming out to his mom. How even though she is a loving and supportive parent he still didn’t feel it was ok to tell her.

My kids know I am not homophobic and am inclusive of all relationships but the scene with Yuna and Shane made me really reflect. So I made a point of very deliberately and carefully telling each of my 3 teenagers that if they were gay it would be fine. I previously just took for granted that they would feel ok to tell me. They were a bit taken aback and eye rolling about it but I just wanted them to have that message very loud and clear.

Dammit, I’ve just watched that ace YouTube clip again, and now I have to go back and start from the beginning again and watch HR all over again for the 15th time!

Me too. Every so often on a rewatch I'll watch it to get the full experience. But on the whole I skip way past!
I'm struggling to get through the Game Changer book too, but I wanted to read the whole series in order.

I loved the Game Changer book and appreciated the episode more as a result. I might have mentioned this previously but I think the fact that Scott was consciously thinking of the impact him coming out would have on younger players really elevates the story.

I've also become kind of obsessed with Francois Arnaud thanks to Instagram.

I'm hoping to rewatch again tonight and will not be skipping ep 3.

I really like Francois as well, I think he comes as very interesting in his interview, but to me that episode was a bit too Hallmark-y. I did not like Kip's casting and I thought Kip's father was a bit over the top. However, Francois's abs visible through Under Armour grey top were spectacular.

@Epli the under armour shirt is probably my favourite supporting character 🤣

I enjoyed the Hunter/Kip epiosde, especially with hindsight and because that kiss scene made the series. BUT at the first watch it was so disjointed at the beginning I actually stopped the programme to make sure I hadn’t missed an episode. I hadn’t really clocked Hunter as a supporting character in the first two episodes. I still feel it needed a better linking at the start to the earlier ones.
