ATP actually made a short documentary about Sasha, I found it quite interesting. He's definitely unconventional.

Ice that was a really good documentary. He's a very smart bloke, and you never know which Sasha is going to turn up to a match.

I thought that I might stay up and watch a bit of tennis due to the early start in Melbourne but TNT seems to be showing the same 2 matches on all channels - no Musetti

Hope that they all survive the heat - sounds brutal - almost 40 degrees

I was there. It was a great match. We were sitting with the Argentinian supporters. Lots of fun.

I was score watching earlier and noticed a lot of outside matches were suspended- I'm assuming it was the weather? I think Jannik had problems in his match.

The TNT red button - and I remember this from RG- is crap at the weekends. All the channels are taken up with other sports. So, no chance of watching anything else other than these 2 matches.
They ars showing (possibly) the end of the Stan match, in between games of the Iga match.(she's having an MTO). Very up and down match this one.Iga won the first set 6-1, Kalinskaya won the second 6-1!

Fritz will be serving for the match. Looks like Stan sprinted off to the loo!

I saw some of Jannik’s match, he was very lucky with the timing of when they closed the roof. Certainly he would have lost the third set without the interruption, he was cramping and could barely move.

Naomi Osaka has withdrawn. The cynic in me wonders if it's because she has been getting negative press. The official line is her 'body needs attention'.

Just caught the end of Iga’s match. That is a very odd scoreline!

Don’t like that questioning, trying to trap Iga into potentially saying something against other players.

I think the oncourt interviews should be ditched. They add nothing whatsoever to the match.

Saw the end of Stan's match. Will certainly miss that backhand! Loved the beers Thought it would have been nice for him to have played on RL one more time, or even MC, he is a 40 year old ex champion, playing AO for the last time, against the 9th seed, so certainly warranted. Some of the scheduling on the show courts has been a bit random thus far
Talking of which, due to Osaka's withdrawal, Marcus Willis' doubles has been moved to RL

You would have thought, Stan aside, that Fritz is ranked high enough to warrant a spot on Laver. He's played all his matches on the John Cain Arena so far.

I had the same thought about Naomi. It’s really a shame if that’s the reason she withdrew.
