Every time they’ve shown Celia this week, her shoulder has moved, I am glad somebody else noticed! So relieved that Bear is OK. I was a bit confused with this episode, might have to watch again. It’s keeping up with all the flashbacks. As an aside, that Jodie is still in Corrie and is a sly baggage.

It’s weird having a character that is straddling the soaps so to speak. I don’t like it.

lostarc · 23/01/2026 06:40

I am wondering if Bear has actually killed Ray though. Perhaps he’s just unconscious. He didn’t look like he had his eyes open after Bear did what he did yet in the other scenes he did. I am wondering if there is more to come. Is tonight a flashback too or are we back in real time?

I thought it was a week of flashbacks, so probably. I expect It might just explain where Bear has disappeared to and how Ray ended up in the back of the van and maybe where Celia is?

xSideshowAuntSallyXx · 23/01/2026 07:27

I said to myself it will be Bear that kills Ray. So now Paddy and Dylan will have to hide the body (which will probably be tonight's episode). Paddy will go into flap mode, Dylan will confess (he's expendable) so Bear doesn't go to prison. Or Bear confesses but because of everything he's been through he'll get off. Mandy will come back just in time to save Paddy.

What I want to know is where Celia is. Why didn't Joe see her when he removed the passports and documents. Also has Jodie been in the van all the time Graham has been talking to Laurel and then beating Ray up?!

CherryogDog · 23/01/2026 08:36

I think Bear will confess because he will want Anya's family to know the truth.
Fingers crossed that's the end of Adenoids April bleating "you don't understand" every episode.

Jitterybugs2 · 23/01/2026 09:40

It’s all so bloody frustrating. The Hotten constabulary have been rubbish so far despite info given to them and they wanted more. Instead of a load of lies and cover ups Paddy could have phoned the police. Told them Ray entered his house (because they aren’t aware of how to use the door lock) and beat him up and was about to kill both him and Dylan with a hammer. Then Bear arrived and disarmed Ray and killed him in self defence. But no, they’re likely to hide the hammer with Ray’s fingerprints all over it, attempt to hide his body and tell a load of lies to cover for each other 😡

Fbfbfvfvv · 23/01/2026 09:58

I’m not convinced Bear will confess because this happened on 2nd January and last week they all still assumed he was dead! So he must be on the run or in hiding.

RaraRachael · 23/01/2026 11:12

The fact that all the flashbacks represented January 2nd, yet we've seen stuff from after that is mega confusing.

Nobody ever thought to report Ray or Celia for swanning into their homes and threatening them but if they don't lock their doors what do they expect?

JaneJeffer · 23/01/2026 11:50

Is Bear still in Paddy’s house then? Or did he spirit him off to his pal in Ireland or stash him with the Irish Dingles?

All will be revealed tonight. Yet another bloody flashback episode.

JaneJeffer · 23/01/2026 12:20

Damn I thought we were done with the flashbacks.

Jitterybugs2 · 23/01/2026 12:32

I’ll miss tonight’s as I’m going to my daughter’s to watch the Traitors final with them. Between Traitors and the Emmerdale flashbacks my brain can’t take much more 🤯

JaneJeffer · 23/01/2026 12:36

I don’t know whether to watch Emmerdale first and then catch up with the traitors or just watch the traitors!

JaneJeffer · 23/01/2026 12:37

Anyway

I thought the Ray fight scene was good apart from Paddy's usual dire acting
Ray actor showed up the others for how bad they are
The storyline was too big for the April actress; she really wasn't up to it

RaraRachael · 23/01/2026 13:58

I laughed when April said something like "I knew what I was doing" or "I could handle them"

No dearie, you really couldn't handle Ray and Celia or the role.

Thanksforyourlackofthought · 23/01/2026 14:01

Oh dear. It’s the outcome I expected but it wasn’t a great episode. Dylan didn’t try to stop Ray beating up Paddy. Paddy’s a big guy but didn’t fight back. Neither of them tried to physically stop Bear.
Nope. Didn’t work for me.

JaneJeffer · 23/01/2026 14:03

I thought Joshua Richards was very good yesterday.

Seeing Ross with April can you imagine how protective of his baby daughter he’s going to be? He won’t get a wink of sleep thinking those numpties Sarah and Jacob are in charge of her.

JaneJeffer · 23/01/2026 14:52

I’ve just discovered the traitors starts at 8:30 tonight so I can watch both without any hassle 🎉

Ellenanora7 · 23/01/2026 15:58

I told you Bear was only dead from the knees down 😉
I presume tonight's will show us how Ray ended up in the van.

We were right that Paddy already knew Bear was at the farm so when Marlon told him he had to pretend he didn't know because Bear had already come back and killed Ray.

Why oh why couldn't Ray have murdered just more one person....ideally Joe.

Yep I'm off to my son and daughter in law for dinner and watching the final of the Traitors too.......have a good weekend everyone 😀

TheFormidableMrsC · 23/01/2026 18:16

JaneJeffer · 23/01/2026 12:37

Anyway

🤣🤣🤣🤣

JaneJeffer · 23/01/2026 18:58

I should have put the 22nd really, it would have read better 🤦🏻‍♀️

RudolphTheReindeer · 23/01/2026 19:30

I've just watched last nights. Until I saw bear I thought it was going to have a really boring conclusion where it turned out no one person killed Ray but he died due to the multiple injuries he's got off fighting different people. I'm still thinking that could be the case.

ilovebrie8 · 23/01/2026 20:01

What is with the girl that was in the van! She is in Corrie and is annoying as hell.

I can’t abide these flashbacks etc too confusing 😂
