Ooh don't you just love a bit of angry Ross?

PrincessScarlett · 21/01/2026 20:24

That bull could be dangerous

JaneJeffer · 21/01/2026 20:24

I hope Paddy has the stun gun in his pocket

Jitterybugs2 · 21/01/2026 20:26

As if any person would listen to all that from Ray and not phone the police

PrincessScarlett · 21/01/2026 20:27

Paddy is just as useless as Marlon

Jitterybugs2 · 21/01/2026 20:33

What’s the consensus. Do we all think Bear is dead? I’m still hoping against hope he’s going to be found barely alive and Hotten super hospital will bring him back to us.

JaneJeffer · 21/01/2026 20:36

Nah he’s not dead. We only saw his feet and Ray didn’t even go into the room for a proper look. He’s probably somewhere all confused and suffering withdrawal from his tablets.

TheFormidableMrsC · 21/01/2026 20:39

I am really enjoying these episodes and seeing it unravel. I thought Bear’s ankles looked like they’d been broken like in Misery 😕. May have imagined that though.

Jojoanna · 21/01/2026 20:43

Marlon is such a drip ,,

PrincessScarlett · 21/01/2026 20:43

Dylan keeps going on about Bear being changed beyond recognition. I hope Bear hasn't killed Ray as he'll then go to prison and that would be heartbreaking ☹️

Fbfbfvfvv · 21/01/2026 22:26

Something that confused me about tonight’s episode - we saw Dylan tell Paddy all about Ray and Bear, but wasn’t there an episode either this week or last where Marlon, Rhona and April told him all about it too (granted we only saw the start and end of the conversation)? Both times he reacted like it was the first time he was hearing it. So which time would have been the first time given we have now gone back in time?

I feel like Paddy isn’t reacting quite as he would since hearing about Bear. Although him and Dylan went out looking for him last week, there were also scenes with him just drinking pints in the pub.

PrincessScarlett · 21/01/2026 22:58

Oh good point @Fbfbfvfvv !

All the flashbacks this week are 2 January, when Ray was killed. I do remember April, Rhona and Marlon telling Paddy about Bear at another time which we presumed was the first time. Maybe Paddy is faking shock hearing about Bear from April/Rhona/Marlon because he already knew 🤔

This week is doing my head in with regards to time frames 🤣

So Dylan was the first one to tell him then on the 2nd? And there’s been a couple of weeks in between before Marlon etc told him? I wonder what he has done with that news during that time and why he faked to Marlon etc that he didn’t know. It’s making me think it’s more likely to be Paddy, Dylan or even Bear that has killed Ray.

I remember commenting to a friend at the time that it was really weird we didn’t see the moment Marlon told Paddy. That would make sense now if it turns out he already knew, but was faking it.

I've also thought Paddy has been acting a bit oddly. He went from saying Moira must have known Celia was dodgy when the drugs stuff came out to vehemently defending her over the people trafficking, saying he knew 100% that she couldn’t be involved.

Maybe the reason he’s so certain is that a) Bear is alive and b) Paddy knows where he is and Bear has confirmed it was all Ray and Celia?

Ellenanora7 · 22/01/2026 00:41

Well I don't know whether I'm coming or going or upside down and inside out after those episodes 😁

I'm so happy to see Graham 😊 I hope Rhona and Leo run off with him and leave Marlon and April to wonder what they did wrong.

Someone earlier said the only person they trust to sort Ray out is Ross and I agree, but I love Ross and don't want him going to prison.

@Fbfbfvfvv you're absolutely right we did see Paddy hearing the news about Bear from Marlon and his lot, so Dylan telling him too is strange, unless he's pretending he didn't know because he killed Ray, I doubt it though, he hasn't got it in him.

I had completely forgotten Al was ever in it!

I think Bear is only dead from the knees down because that's all we've seen of him since Christmas.

Ellenanora7 · 22/01/2026 00:44

Just saw your post @AnnieLummox hmmm you make a good point there, maybe he does know now.

bizzey · 22/01/2026 03:50

Script writers have been on the Haribos !

They have forgotten what they have wrote in their excitement and excited voices !! 😁😁😅

bizzey · 22/01/2026 03:51

To be fair ...we were all moaning about the full explanations not being done .

lostarc · 22/01/2026 09:53

I advise you to stay off tik tok if you use it today. The spoilers are massive and videos are showing who did it. Every second video is Emmerdale on my tik tok. A bit disappointed as I wanted to watch tonight.

JewelleryCat · 22/01/2026 10:05

@lostarc that is such a shame that loads of people are posting spoilers about tonight. Ruins it for everyone else

RaraRachael · 22/01/2026 10:12

I 'm away to watch tonight's but will keep my trap shut 🤫

JaneJeffer · 22/01/2026 12:30

That’s why I hate the early release of episodes. It needs to stop. Now I’m going to have to avoid the internet all day.

JewelleryCat · 22/01/2026 12:46

Do double check the information from Digital Spy but if true, sport is taking over again

”Bad news, soap fans – Coronation Street and Emmerdale are set to face another schedule change. The ITV shows have been taken off air occasionally in recent times due to sports fixtures.
It looks like that will be the case once again next month, with the week starting 2 February seeing both soaps off air for 2 nights. Firstly, the episodes on Tuesday (3 February) will not be shown then due to the Carabao Cup match between Arsenal and Chelsea from 7.30pm on ITV1.
Thursday's (5 February) episodes will also be off air due to a Six Nations match between France and Ireland from 7.20pm on ITV1”

JaneJeffer · 22/01/2026 12:50

It’s getting ridiculous now @JewelleryCat !
I know it’s a rule that the U.K. has to show international matches on either BBC1 or ITV1 if one of their countries is involved but these matches don’t involve any of them. Why can’t they put them on one of their other channels?

JewelleryCat · 22/01/2026 12:57

I didn’t even know that was a rule. I do think they should put sport on ITV4 or maybe a dedicated sport channel on ITVX. Surely viewing figures aren’t that much but maybe they are, I don’t really watch sport. The Winter and Summer Olympics every 4 years is about my lot lol
