Emmerdale’s Twitter has a “sorry Mr Dingle” post with a picture of Cain so I presume it is him with cancer.

Could Graham just be a metaphor figure for death? I.e the grim reaper? All in black with a hood, walking around as people were dying. He said about delivering bad news, was that the doctor talking to Cain? Might be far flung but not unheard of

Well I thought Debbie was a ghost at first when she reappeared so why not? But I don’t think so even though I love stuff like that I don’t think it would wash with the general public!

I thought the same, but pretty sure after seeing an Emmerdale update on Instagram it's cain.

I’m a glutton for punishment and have just rewatched some of it. When the doctor started his monologue about finding a tumour Aaron and Robert were sitting side by side in the corridor . By the time the doctor was finished his voiceover Robert appeared to be in the same area as Cain and Moira. No sign of Aaron, the camera was on Robert (possibly at Aaron’s bedside?) with Cain and Moira in the background.

I had another look at the tattoos. The mystery woman’s looks like an eyelash shape whereas Shona’s looks like a tree. But she does look and sound like Shona 🤷‍♀️

I can’t sleep, so I’ve been pondering the nights events and it occurred to me that maybe members of the two casts will still crossover until the storylines are finished.
Rather like when The Fonz used to pop up in Laverne and Shirley.

Waiting with bated breath to see how they explain Graham being alive. He was murdered on screen (albeit what we saw was Pierce’s recollection, not necessarily what actually happened), and his death was the subject of a major police investigation. There’s no way he didn’t have a full autopsy.

I'm still desperately hoping the cancer story is not Cain as that would be utter misery for Cain and Moira after everything they have both been through.

And yes @JaneJeffer you're right, Aaron does know he has the faulty gene like his mum and nan.

Is there a specific Corriedale thread? I have to say it but I’m a Corrie fan and don’t know anything about Emmerdaie. I think the last time I saw an episode i was at my DAunt’s house and it was still called Emmerdale Farm

There is one somewhere but it’s apparent from this crossover that Emmerdale fans are yappers and Corrie fans are the silent type 😅 so if you’re looking for chat this is the thread!

I thought the hooded man would be Kev come to save the day and to save Robert, gobsmacked to see Graham and had to Google to remember how he (supposedly) met his end.

I'm going to rewatch today, we missed the person in the back of Graham's van.

They need at least a temporary absence for Victoria, I haven't seen anything about how that is going to be achieved, presumably this leads into it?

I agree. I thought Corriedale was a load of rubbish. Everything was far too dark so very difficult to work out what was going on. It really only worked if you watch both soaps. I only recognised Kevin and Carla.
I'm definitely not going to waste another hour of my life rewatching

I watch every episode of Corrie as well as Emmerdale but I still struggled to keep up with it all last night. My overriding feeling is that I’m pissed off that John, Ray and Celia are all dead and not around to face justice.

I wouldn’t be surprised if everything is back to normal in the next few episodes and they’re never mentioned again. April will get back to school in time to fly through her exams and Paddy and Mandy will lavish love and care on Dylan. It will quickly be forgotten that he didn’t tell them right away that he saw Bear at the farm.

Yes I think that's what will happen. Very poor endings all round when we've suffered these stories for so long.

And Graham reappearing. What on earth was that all about?

I’ll need to refresh my memory today on Graham’s exit . I recognised him last night but thought I’d misremembered he had died. Is it possible he’s an evil super baddie and was Celia’s boss? But then that wouldn’t explain his resurrection from the dead. Could he be Graham’s evil twin brother? So many questions 😆

Someone on the Corrie thread said that the girl in the van has the same tattoo as Shona in Corrie. Looking at the screenshot posted above she looks similar to her (so whether she is meant to be related to her?). We kind of assume because it’s Graham that it’s an Emmerdale plot, but it would be an interesting twist if Graham is actually going into Corrie as Graham! I know it’s a one off cross over, but it doesn’t mean that one character couldn’t switch to the other soap IYSWIM . . . .

PS I am thrilled to see Graham . I warmed to him just as they "killed" him off

Only just caught up and I’m glad it’s over! I had to rewind a few bits because I wasn’t clear what was happening, so much going on and I watch both so know who everyone is!

For Corrie fans it was a horrible end for vicar Billy, but I don’t think it was clear enough that Billy got his seatbelt off and then Theo popped it back in again to trap him. It was common knowledge the Billy actor was leaving, but at least we knew he’d definitely died rather than all the wondering what’s happened to who.

Glad the Becky storyline is over and liked the handcuff scene.

In Emmerdale, so, so sick of John coming back like a Halloween movie. Glad he’s dead but don’t understand how Victoria got there at the end. Don’t know who the woman running in the woods was. And don’t understand how Cain got shot with a shotgun but was just sitting up in bed like he’d grazed his knee.
