Apologies, I can’t see another thread so just starting this one in anticipation.

Can’t wait to see what the red cloak is all about!

I’d pick Maz for the chop too. But DH just said to me why go for him when he so obviously seems like a faithful 🤷‍♀️ I dunno if I agree with him tho I think anyone is game right now

One other thing to remember is that these guys playing will have watched the last few series and so will have come in with preconceived ideas and expectations, including how they will behave.

This is why the first few series of these kind of programmes are better because nobody quite knows what they are going into. I really hope The Traitors doesn’t get diluted if that makes sense

EchoedSilence · 01/01/2026 21:27

I think the ST is Amanda or Ross.

WonderfulSmith · 01/01/2026 21:28

The ST knows who the traitors are.
The ST draws up a list for the traitors to pick from for murder.
The ST or the traitors cannot be on that list.
Anyone is up for banishment.

mmmarmalade · 01/01/2026 21:29

Not really feeling it TBH. Put off by so many people convinced by their own mythical superpowers. The ST seems to take a lot of the power away from the real traitors - I suspect the ST is just an employee of the production company who is trying to throw in as many curve balls as possible. I suppose it adds in the element that it's not just the faithful's looking for the traitors but the traitors themselves are doing the same thing but taking away the traitor debate and insight into their thinking is a high price to pay I think... maybe it's too early to judge but ATM... didn't get that excited by it and didn't even bother to watch the Ed Gamble et al. who added greatly to the whole series.

PlumpHobbit · 01/01/2026 21:29

Im thinking Fiona is the secret traitor, she smirked after the blindfolds and there was a bit in the car where she looked dodgy

EchoedSilence · 01/01/2026 21:30

What will happen if the ST gets banished first?

I guess they will announce they are a traitor so someone else will be recruited.

They can't. They draw up the shortlist and obviously don't put themselves on it.

DandelionPockets · 01/01/2026 21:31

It will get interesting as the ST will be putting people up for murder that means the faithful will suspect the traitors. As the ST will want to win the game outright without other traitors for full prize fund, and obviously can do so with good odds if they play it right.

Just depends if the ST can do enough damage before their identity is obvious because the traitors will then be trying their hardest to get them banished without exposing themselves to the faithful.

Adds some nice new elements of deception and manipulation to the game!

That murder, not banishment.

It makes more sense to murder those seen as faithful as they won’t get banished. I imagine they’re all suspecting everyone at this stage though and nobody is being seen as a definite faithful. There’s less suspicion on him than the other two though so he makes the most sense for murder.

DH is convinced Ross is the ST, based on the shots of their back and shoulders in the cloak.

I suspect Hugo will be turned on by his fellow traitors fairly soon and thrown under the bus. I think he wants to be in charge and I don't think Rachel in particular would like that.

NCTDN · 01/01/2026 21:33

My initial thought on secret traitor was Judy and she also wasn’t bothered about standing next to her grave. Plus she slept well.

goldtrap · 01/01/2026 21:33

I wonder how the Secret Traitor will play the roundtable as they have no loyalty to the other traitors and know who they are. And, actually, what if the secret traitor is banished at the first round table? That would be a bit of a damp squib.

I would love him to be out very quickly - he thinks he is superior to everyone else

Sleepeazie · 01/01/2026 21:34

I think the ST is the brunette, youngish (mid 20s?) tall lass, who wore the brown top at the round table. I can’t remember her name. She absolutely had a visceral reaction to the round table, once she took her blindfold off - can’t see what else it could be, unless it was disappointment that she couldn’t contain.

Hugo is doomed either way. If his fellow traitors immediately distrust him, it’s likely the faithfuls will be suspicious too.

I think the person in the shot was a man, as they seemed tall and broad shouldered, but it may not have been the actual ST. A tall, broad shouldered person makes a more impressive sight. Also, a small person might be too easy to guess.

WonderfulSmith · 01/01/2026 21:36

Oooh. Uncloaked is on BBC 1 after this!

TeideHeart · 01/01/2026 21:37

If I were the secret traitor I'd accept that there's a chance I could be banished and that at some point the ordinary traitors will be able to narrow my identity down and guess me correctly, so the chances of me getting to the end are pretty slim.

So I'd enjoy myself trying to scupper things for them.

I'd think who they might want to bump off and make sure they weren't on the list.

And so on.

IAmKerplunk · 01/01/2026 21:37

I don’t think the person in the red cloak is the actual ST. I think it’s a member of production to stop people guessing
