The John Lewis advert from several years ago now with the rabbit (hare?) and his hibernating Polar Bear buddy that always slept through Christmas.

Going back a lot further, the Guinness 4 horses of the apocalypse advert was amazing.

Not what the OP was asking but the advert that sticks in my mind the most though was AIDS one 1980's, terrified me as a kid and thought we were all going to die.

Another vote for the yellow pages ads.

Also one from my early 20s I think so maybe 1994 called Can’t Wait, when a woman was on a packed train with new clothes from French Connection that she loved so much she changed into them on the train. I’ve never found it online.

The Walls sausages one with the dog fighting the man for them, can’t remember when it was from.

The Peter Kay John Smith ones were epic.

I know it's quite a recent one - and recently re-run - but I absolutely love the Amazon 'Joy Ride' advert.

It has to be the full-length one, though - they've only shown the short version so far this year (as far as I've seen), but I hope they show the full one again a bit more as Christmas approaches.

I LOVED that one!! Such a catchy song.
