I started watching the Lorenzo/Djok match on Saturday and then Sky switched it to another channel and then the rugby was on and then I’m not quite sure what happened to the rest of the weekend

Typical of Djok to run Lorenzo ragged and then withdraw from the ATP finals - hopefully he will have something left in the tank - I’m hoping to watch his match against Fritz this afternoon

I do think that the umpires are guilty of hiding behind the 'it's all automated , mate, not, not my circus' a bit too much at times (they could overrule things if they really wanted to, and saw something was wrong- that's why they are there). - but the players are also aware of the rules.

I only found out on Saturday that the Athens tournament is actually the Belgrade one (run by Djok's brother), moved to Greece.

That's why Djok didn't withdraw.

He was very unhappy when Daniil and Andrey withdrew last minute from Belgrade (when they secured spots in Turin) leaving his brother without big names in a previous year. So, he could hardly do the same.
