Why would that make it cat? We’ve had had two seasons of single sex traitor groups

Only once has there been a single sex group among the original traitors in the UK (series 3, all women). And that was likely because series 2 was so male dominated after Ash was banished early on. The men only recruited male traitors to join them.

There was absolutely no way the BBC would have had an all male traitor line up for the first celebrity version.

soupforbrains · 06/11/2025 22:32

@Hungrycaterpillarsmummyyes. Exactly. How does Joe, doing exactly what he told you in advance he was going to do, make him a traitor.

also, why did Nick vote to end it at 3. Alan had just voted for David, apparently believing he is a traitor and now he’s willing to end it? Sus AF.

MrsLeonFarrell · 06/11/2025 22:32

I'm feeling very happy that i called Alan as a successful traitor from the beginning. Well done Alan.

Nesbi · 06/11/2025 22:32

Amazing tv - we watched it with our kids and were all on the edge of our seats (literally).

Nick really pulled defeat out of the jaws of victory. I want to know why Joe didn’t tell Nick he was pretending to be in an alliance with Cat and Alan.

Yeh I'm not sure about this. Joe had a chance to speak after Alan told the other two about the "alliance" but just said "I think there's a traitor"....

Nottodaythankyou123 · 06/11/2025 22:33

Re Cat being a woman, I’m sure a previous traitor (non celeb) had said the producers steer them away from that sort of speculation (or they speculate on those lines but it gets cut). I can’t find it now but someone definitely said that tactical speculation based on gender / age etc got cut because there were definitely those conversations during the day

I was so happy to see Joe leave. What an arse. So arrogant, and I hated the way he spoke down to Kate.

Alan played an incredible game.

I'd have been just as happy for Nick to win, as he seems so genuinely lovely.

I honestly think people don't get Joe. He plays up the "arse" thing. People do know he didn't mean it when he said he'd worked them all out on day 1 don't they?

Very!!

ThatCyanCat · 06/11/2025 22:33

Joe's hilarious, took him long enough to see what Ed was getting at!

CeliaFarts · 06/11/2025 22:33

I wanted Ed to be the drummer

Sadza · 06/11/2025 22:33

David got every single decision completely wrong, Joe is such a good judge of people. Good instincts.

AnneShirleysNewDress · 06/11/2025 22:33

A great charity but I’m disppointed the faithfuls threw it away.

CaveMum · 06/11/2025 22:34

Ed was a Druid! Love that Nick had spotted him, pity he wasn’t as perceptive about the Traitors 🤣

CrushingOnRubies · 06/11/2025 22:34

Love how Ed is interviewing Alan in front of a drinks globe, like Alan had in Chatty Man

Garamousalata · 06/11/2025 22:34

Joe was my favourite. I’m gutted they turned on him. Fair play to Alan though.

The people who think Joe was arrogant and aggressive definitely don't "get" it's done in jest and is totally non threatening. It's weird they don't see it imo

ThatCyanCat · 06/11/2025 22:34

How on earth did Nick recognise him?

That's irrelevant to me. What IS relevant to me is the way he spoke down to Kate, and his intimidating behaviour in general.

That sounds very close to the "it's only banter" excuse for bullying

Hungrycaterpillarsmummy · 06/11/2025 22:36

When were there druids?! I'm not watching uncloaked

Yes, when men dismiss or talk over women I don’t care if they are doing it ironically - the effect is the same.

Sure but they don’t know if anyone’s been recruited or not. I don’t think one woman being left is a given that’s all
